That's really helpful when the numbers (5, 10, 15, 20, etc.) are printed out in the lyrics like that--I never understood what they were saying before.

i think the song is about capitalism and excess and marketing maybe a about music back then.... everyone trying to get the same tone . like.... today its "room tone"..... everyone wants "room tone" in their recordings . and the 5 10 15 20 part would be a TRIP to listen to on shrooms... when time starts to get all funky.... (well... a lot of different drugs do that)
