One of the Greatest Ballads from the 70s. It was recorded in 1972 and has basically been forgotten along with the group from New Jersey. Listen to the tight harmonies.

Needlessly ignorant comment. Real musicians understand and appreciate the depth of hip hop (for example, David Bowie, Gill Scott Heron). If you don't get it, just say you don't understand. If you can go and listen to Kendrick Lamar's "u" and tell me there's no musical talent involved you're just being willfully ignorant and limiting your own enjoyment of music. Rather than being an elitist, keep an open mind.

This song was sent to me by a man I fell in love with 30 years ago ..we reunited on August 26, 2022 This is the only relationship I have had in 30 yrs...the only man I ever loved...I am grateful that God brought us back together...God bless our relationship...God bless our LOVE...A new beginning....He sends music like this to me very often... ..

these songs remind us of a time when there was still an exciting future and the opposite sex was still something forbidden and mysterious and to be respected and held in awe.....this song is a mind blower

fmazzr, I love your signature logo. That brings back soo many memories when the "BABY BOOMERS" used those for their 45 records. That's genius!!✌👍

The entire album takes me back when things were soooooo mellow. Love this song. Makes you drift back, when you were in your lover's arms and the two step was the dance. Thanks Stylistics for making life just a little better. OH FOR THE GOOD TIMES.

Beautiful soul ballad from the golden 70s! "Body and Soul (That's the Way It's Got to Be)" is a 70s soul classic! Awesome!
