There are so many nuggets in this movie but for me, the biggest one is the scene with Dorothea when she tells Joe the story about the young fish... The young fish is looking for "the ocean" because the idea of the ocean sounds so grand. But when you're actually in the ocean.... it's just water. Joe thinks he's not living his dream but what he claims to be in love with is playing music. As a music teacher, he does play music - every, single day. Yet he's unfulfilled because "middle school music teacher" doesn't sound grand. But it is literally his dream - he is a professioinal, full-time musician. He just doesn't appreciate it.

This movie didn't get much of the audience and accolades that I thought it deserved due to it being relegated to streaming at the star of the pandemic. Such a good movie.

@@Cassxowary That is definitely true now, but like I said it was relegated to D+ due to the pandemic and we also have to keep in mind that D+ was just launched a year prior. I am not sure about the second half of your comment. Are you talking about how shows/movies get lost within the sites catalogue? There is truth there as well. Unless you seek out a certain title, they are pushed back down the recommendations after a while. Movies during that time didn't get the chance to have the streaming premier as a part of the second wave behind theatrical release.

That's what happens when you don't pay attention, but then again we're not going to have it in our control, when it's times up it's times up. Sure it might seem unfair but that's not for us to decide all we have is to enjoy the time that is given to us. Life strikes when we least expect it to. But this movie truly is something it truly makes you think and look at life differently.

I think there’s a hard balance between having a steady paycheck and following your dreams. If you only do the things you love, but they don’t pay well or at all, you will end up on the street. If you only follow a good career and ignore your passion/hobbies you will be miserable and slowly start to die inside. So I think Balance is important! 😃🤙🏻

If you spend so much time to find your PURPOSE you forgot to Live and the PURPOSE of life is Living❤️ me myself when I was like 15 years old I experience a lot of bully because of my body, I'm skinny not really handsome and that really hurts me I'm always crying everytime I got home, and last year I watch this movie SOUL and now I'm 18 years old I don't mind the bullies anymore i just focus the things that makes me happy, i was like I don't need to impress people just to like me like Naah I'm just here living my life I'm enjoying every moment of it and appreciating small thing like the air, the nature, feeling the wind on my skin ugh such a wonderful world❤️🤗

I know that right now you're working through Pixar films and Marvel films as well as everything else, but I was just wondering, in light of 'History of the World Part 2' being released, do you think you could do some more Mel Brooks movies on this channel and then watch 'History of the World Part 2? At some point that is once you have some space. Mel brooks movies are: The Producers (1968) The Twelve Chairs Blazing Saddles Young Frankenstein Silent Movie History of the World Part 1 High Anxiety Spaceballs Life Stinks Robin Hood: Men In Tights Dracula: Dead and Loving It The Producers (2005) To Be Or Not To Be (1983) of course you've already seen - you seemed to have a blast watching it so I figured you'd like more of his other movies

I’m on Team Mom AND Team Dream. Seeing lots of death around me, security in a job means nothing. “I’m just afraid that if I die today/tomorrow…”, how satisfied would I be? Not the folks that rely on me. But also, bills gotta get paid and I like my comfort too much to not work a job that I don’t even like to make ends meet. It’s It’s life man. Most people’s daily struggle.

Some of their movies have been less then great - the 'Cars' trilogy is fun and enjoyable but I get what people say when they say they're not their best movies - but I don't think Pixar has ever made a bad movie. I think they've made roughly 26 in total so far.
