i have been listening to electronica since the mid 70s, have the pieces from the 60s to now, a collection of all the top electronic music artists. however there is only one group who stand out on their own, and that could only be" tangerine dream" the first album i heard was cyclone, but quickly discovered the rest. to sum up T.D. is by far the only audio artisans who can truly interpret soundscapes that the listener can then create in their own mind. that being the case, then there are no words that can really describe their musical skills. just amazing soundscapes.
So very Tangerine Dream, I've been a fan from the early 1970s, Phaedra being my very first album. This track has all the vintage sounds and sequences from the boys. Absolutely amazing.
Just sensational!! of course I love all the classic TD sequencer burblings but here it's developed into a cool and hauning melody... more than just a tribute... almost a reincarnation. 10/10 for sheer goosebumps factor.
I see this vid for the first time and I am so impressed...!!! Great sound, great theam....great spirit...❤❤❤ RIP Edgar and ALL THE BEST WISHES FOR YOU...AND ALL TD MEMBERS AND LOVERS!!!
Gdybyś właśnie teraz TY koncertował gdzieś na świecie, to wszyscy fani starego dobrego TD płakali by z wzruszenia. To jest jak podróż w czasie. Nie do opisania !
Free System Projekt simulates 1970s TD rather well, I think. So did the first two albums by Redshift. As well as albums by Air Sculpture and Radio Massacre International.
Year after year I keep coming back to this video. I really mean it when I say that this is the most beautiful tribute of any kind to anyone I have ever seen/heard.
I too still come back a couple of times a month. A big part of my teens were infused with TD. First Le Parc and Underwater sunlight, then I plowed through the Virgin years from 80s to 70s. This is such a wonderful mix of it! Seb, if you read this please put out more music. C'est très jolie! According to my belief wonderful music is the antidote to all the darkness, it reprograms our lousy brains and aligns us with the magic of the stars ✨
Wow incredible so beautiful sounds just like the original three.from early 80s you truly know the real tangerine dream. So heart felt music outstanding ovation to you. Thanks
Amazing tribute to our pioneers and masters of berlin school and electronic music: Tangerine Dream Froese, Franke and Baumann forever ! Ah, listen to Magnum Opus - Sinestesia
Un tres bel hommage à notre cher disparu Edgar Froese, malheureusement , nous n'aurons plus jamais ce style de music apres la disparition des pioniers comme Edgar Froese et Klaus Schulze
phantastic !!!! like the real TD: im so glad i saw them in the 70s with their complete modelarsystem on stage. thanks. ill always stay a true lover of the old analogue modular stuff
Wow, just found this...loved it! I think all TD fans will be into it. It bridges the "eras" of TD beautifully without sounding forced or pastiche in any way. Great stuff! Thanks!
The most spectacular vision of Tangerine Dream. In a spirit of the time to make a great music without rush. Time and dedication. You have the quality of the great musicians of the past. A time that will never come back. Greetings from Brazil.
Fantastic!, the music is great, the sounds are wonderful, the video edition is superb and the finale with the "plugged" tangerine is a very nice touch. And the instruments used are pure magic. Thank you.
as a berlin school composer myself, i'll provide a brief analysis which may hopefully be useful regarding the super good quality of the composition and the musicianship: it starts off rad as if it is "rubycon and phaedra: the ccmpact edition," and then turns into a cool as heck + lush combo of 70s and 80s electronic synth blastin' w/ gorgeous tones and cOntrast ;w; also, the chord progressions in combination w/ the lead sound at the end is a stellar bit. i would've even liked if the lead and the chord progression went on for even longer b/c of how rad it sounded. OwO awesome piece, d00d \m/ very impressive to see it was all powered by the dream of the little tangerine at the end :3
I don't really know how I've missed this ... but I'm glad I've found it! The best thing I can say is it's more TD than TD! It takes many of their best elements and combines them into a single piece. Excellent!
Okay, This was number three and now, I'm going to watch every single video you posted while drooling and dreaming away.. %} God how much I love this sound and you really know how to do it! If I'ld only have a few thousand spare bucks - I'ld NEVER leave my MOS-Lab again in my life.. ;)
This was my first album of Tangerine dream and enjoyed it very much. The first time I ever heard of Tangerine dream was on the radio and the album was called Zeit.
Muy buen homenaje , a ese sonido que nos hace vibrar hoy , en la escénica universal que debe volar y ojalá engendre más Edgar Froesse desde Argentina Al universo de mi alma tu música siempre te llevará dentro mío desde los 15 años
