Your wish has been granted, I wish someone would tell me this sooner cause i really need this advice. I've always wanna be a designer, but I settled as graphic designer now cause it's on the border between my job interest and what my families allowed me to be. I've always feels unsated after every work i've done, it feels like i know i can do more than this. Guess i'll find some free time to invent something instead of focusing only on graphic design.

Quentin Tarantino, upon being asked which film school he went to, respinded, "I went to films." Imagine of everyone just got in touch with their creator self again. Schools would not exist in the way that they do now, soul sucking, as Sam beautifully puts it. I am so pleased this video, Sam, breathed life back into you. That is the true human spirit . I'm just getting into painting at 67yrs old. I just sit down and paint what comes to mind. I showed a friend my first painting of a green being. It was very rough and unpolished. He lived it so much. My soul needed this. Between your art, storytelling voice, and peaceful vibe, I truly needed this. I have struggled with sharing my art on social media to the point I lose my creative spark, and I now realize I was trying to follow the algorithm instead of just sharing my art for ME. You made me want to cry, but you also made me want to dig deep, find what is hiding down there away from all the rules and guidelines, and create for me.

Loved this, especially the second part with you painting. I remember my first major art class project was based on fairies and I've always been fascinated with them since childhood because of stories like The changeling, Twisted and the classics & so on and so forth ...

The ones I've mentioned were books. However ,I do Love fairy series a great one I enjoyed recently was Carnival Row. 'Cursed' also has some interesting fairy/fae lore. The movie 'Bright' had a really interesting depiction of elves and other fairytale beings which I enjoyed. @@samanthacboyer

I love this story. Thank you. I still prefer oil paint though. And here is why- the pure pigment is made of crystalline structures that eminate light in a unique manner. Crystals and earth have a magical quality to their energetic compositions. But I also think that if a painter is happy with their medium- it will also create alchemy

I have just started opening up to the idea of fairies Last fall when I was in the woods, I gave thanks to the fairies for taking care of the forest.
