Whoa, what a sound! I've loved TOP since the 70's (just saw them earlier this year again), and have loved Gerald's sound since the 70's, too. The entire band cooks, the horns breathe like they have one lung, and the rhythm section was smokin' hot.

Gerald Albright is a treasure, the greatest Saxophonist of our time, next The Cannonball Adderly. I covered this tune with Joey Cline in the original “Hip Service” Band in Sacramento. It’s difficult to rehearse a band to swing. Tevis Laukat is brilliant in his solo work on Tenor. The drummer has a great groove, he covers Garibaldi very well. I like how you worked in the Oakland Stroke Horn line.

Oh yes! A huge nod to the fabulous 10 that are The Tower of Power. Those Cats are celebrating 51 years together this year. Super rendition of an already great tune. Nice to see these guys get the respect they fully deserve as one incredible Soul band. Made my day, gents. 🎺🎷🎸💲⚔ And that Cannonball bari sax is SPLENDIFEROUS!!!
