It's great how you mention the tricky parts of the model making and how annoying it can be. Plus mistakes to avoid. When I started model building, it always felt like my fault if something went wrong.

I was serious considering this box but in the end i went with the Ad Mech one since that's my main army. But man the Zombies are such a blast to paint.

Hope your happy with your toaster enthusiast box, I'm still thinking about the sisters box but if I was going for any of the AOS ones this year it'd be this one for sure

I always thought that you could always assemble the female variant of the Vengorian Lord and play her as a regular female Vengorian Lord rather than as Lauka Vai? I'm sure they weren't all bald males, and they use the same weapon?

Just throwing this out there because she mentioned holding the banner forever to dry, a much better option is using a little baking soda which makes a quick strong bond. I will warn though that the chemical process makes the glue heat up and releases a naucious smell if you are not in a ventilated area. It is a great way to fill cracks in models as well though or even make a decent snow/ice effect on bases

Naomi,... I find that the sleeves of my baggy jumpers catch stuff all the time.. Now knocked over 4 shades, a blue contrast. as well as a full bottle of polly-cement. Ive only been doing the painting side of the hobby for 2 months.... already have many unopend boxes, and zero clue what im aiming for! happy confused days!!

This box looks so good for a new SBG player; all new and beautiful sculpts. Love the really strange horror Vengorian Lord. Looking foreward too the Slaanesh box as I have ordered that one to start Hedonites. Thanks for the video Naomi!

Yes you want two boxes, just for the factor of the troops, knights, and the hero (do it as an alt).

Getting back into the hobby with this box and haven't played since Fantasy. There are no distinction in the rules between lances/swords and spears/swords? They all provide the same play experience, just different esthetics? I've been enjoying your archive of videos! The tour of the shop was a ton of fun for me. Sooo many choices! 😍 Thank you for posting!

That's a good review on the Soulblight Gravelords. I would recommend most of the models in this boxset, the Blood Knights as well! 🩸 With the Blood Knights kit, I had some incidents where a couple of their lances arm broke off when I accidently dropped them on the wooden floor. So far, I've repaired them (and used this opportunity to paint most of the difficult to paint areas of the models), including the lance with the banner flag. Mostly the pointy bits of the models could break if dropped.

That box was the best deal. Grab a necromancies plus box and your at 1k of 2k straight away. Add the start collecting box and your in the game for under 600 bucks which is basically unheard of. I went This box Necron mancer Second set of blood knights Wolves Another pack of zombies Vampire on dragon- don’t need this I just love the model. Probably would recommend grave guard over this if you don’t have

You could also buy the start collecting box set of flesheater courts for $90. just for the zombie dragon (with prince vordhrai) and 3 vargheists which is a total of $110 if bought seperatly

I generally prefer the bonereapers but for that more classic undead troops look this may be the better choice. Besides that big leader guy. To Creepy looking to me. I dont think I would use him.
