not really if you even look at the combat its obvious why they are not that similar. Menat has air throws, a dive-kick, a slide to get under projectiles, teleports, projectile reflectors, a projectile throw?!?!, and can use more than one orb for her v-trigger. yes on the surface they look the same but they almost like most set-up heavy characters in fighting games like Captain Cold in Injustice 2 and Cyrax or predator in MKX.
lolMARKO Viola has 2 or more sliding moves which she is able to use to slide under middle hitting attacks she also has a dive kick as well. Menat literally has one of Viola's grabs as her Ultra move. Meant is not that different from Viola the only things that make her different is her apperance and the ability to summon orbs.

It's a 2D game vs a 3D game, of course they're going to add/give different moves to suit the context of the game. Also capcom isn't stupid enough to completely rip off a character by giving them exactly the same moves. It's pretty obvious that the design and playstyle of menat was taken and inspired by viola.
I've never been good with female characters but now.. I have Viola. The queen of the infinate combo. I did on of these by randomly button mashing, like a boss🎮
I've always been good with female characters, because almost all female characters are combo characters. I'm especially good with Amy, Tira, and Vi. And as you can probably see by my profile pic, I love Amy.
I don't use Viola that much coz really I don't know how to, but we have this mini tournament between us cousins, amd they often ban Viola, now that I saw her combos I now know why, she OP at hands of a Viola player, nad I have one cousin who main her, I might start using her tho, she's an awesome character
I don't understand anything, how do you make the black direction arrows? They are always white and only are black sometimes when combining with B, K or A
After her 2A-B. You should be able to continue the combo. Because you're doing the stunned move, your opponent's body is launched slightly higher than usual. You would have to dash then do A.A.B and so on.
I Meridiax I Make sure you're doing the AAB 2A+B early enough. For some reason if the opponent is too close to the ground when 2A+B hits it does a regular knockdown instead of a stun and you can't continue the combo.
