Dave Peters is a monster vocalist. Hell of a nice guy as well. I played with Throwdown way back in 05 and they played a brutal roots bloody roots cover. The fact that this even happened is amazing.

Came here just for that part. That transition into the palm mute pattern tho. I feel like in an alternate universe, this song has a more melodic ending and I'd love to hear that.

I saw an interview with Dave and Matt recently about the 20th anniversary of HAYMAKER. They didn't say that there wouldn't be anymore THROWDOWN so there's still a glimmer of hope.

Loved Sepultura, love Soulfly - theres no stopping MaxC. What a great guy he is. Went to watch Sepultura at Manchester Int2 back in the early 90's, got to meet the band and ended up chatting to Max & Igor, which later ended with Max inviting me & my mate to watch Sacred Reich play. Max bought us both a bottle of Bud. What a guy....

When people say there are no good metal bands any more, I'm like, uh no dude, Soulfly. Max Cavalera is The Man for the following reasons. 1. His music has evolved with the times. Name one thrash band who has. The others are stuck in their ways. Everything he does is awesome. 2. Just look at him. 3. He has never ever released a pussy album, and writes EVERYTHING. 4. He isnt a prick to his fans. I have been a fan since '89, and I like Soulfly the most. Even more than old school Sepultura.
