I agree totally! I'm a musician myself and have watched him since he started. I can't even conceive what he will be capable as his voice matures more. He is definitely a prodigy! Just love where he goes and you can see him feel it.

all good advice, especially staying away from the drug culture scene, and women who just want to get with you for the ride. I know probably nobody has talked to you about God, but you should hear Jesse Duplantis's story. He was as good as you at 9 yrs. old, can play 11 different instruments, but he got into that drug scene and drinking, and it was all about to kill him. he drank so much the doctor's said he wouldn't live past 24, but he met God in a hotel room in Boston, Ma. in 1974 and got delivered from that scene, got out of the rock business and now he's an evangelist. a very prosperous and famous one at that. just sayin, don't go down the wrong road, follow your heart and stay clean young man.

I know someone that has been playing off and on for 40 years and he's still not this good. I refrain from telling him because it would hurt his feelings and break his spirit. If I played guitar for that long and saw this kid shredding that Gibson the way he does, I'd quit.

I said same thing..that's old soul playing there...Stevie Ray or Randy Rhodes...people practice and play their whole lives and never get this good and he makes it look so so easy

I'm glad you didn't let your dislike for rock music chase you away from this highly talented young man. I don't think it matters what genre of music you live by, this child plays music in a way that has a life in it that swoops in and touches the heart of your soul. I don't care what style of music he plays. His music takes my mind and my heart to the most beautiful places I never knew existed. May I recommend BLUES SUNDAY to you if you haven't already found that video. It's another one that carries you away. That song and the one on this video both bring me to tears. I can't count how many times I've listened to them. He has more that affect me the same way. The young man is already a living legend. He has a piece of all the great's styles all rolled up inside and they manifest as one very talented player. I can't imagine where his music will take people ten or twenty years down the line. Beyond Heaven no doubt!

He's got ALOT of SRV's spirit in him! ..it's obvious from the hat to the facial expressions to his vibrato and he admitted besides Angus SRV was one of his top 3 including Garry Moore.
