@@somedudenameddes0121that shit came out in 2008 but I can tell you and the other one were too young when this came out. We still got people in 2024 thinking music is from the time it’s been uploaded on RU-vid as if RU-vid been around forever smh
The crazy part is, his music was FUN. Not violent, or about drugs. Real fun. The music we been wishing we could get back, was the music he made. As a kid, I was learning all the dances, & talking about my swag. Lol. Not smoking & having sex.❤️
I just missin dressin like this. No lie soulja n arab was blueprint. I had the lines in my eyebrows and fade. The fashion today suck. Expensive hobo swag today.
Fr. Only thing ion respect about him is that he shits on Mississippi as if we didn't give hime his start, that's where he started and became Soulja Boy.
no profanity, no violence, no guns, no illegal substance, and is about a young man who came from nothing yet made it big in the world. souja was such a good role model tbh
@@JB-es3ff Not really because %99 of rappers also rap about coming up from nothing. Also this is one of the only songs where he isn’t using profanity, probably the only song I’m not sure. Also isn’t his name young draco 😂 . Compared to rappers today he’s still not a role model in anyway shape or form lol.
I miss the 2000s PlayStation 2 Cartoon network was great Drake was on the rise Wii was lit The stanky leg Crank that soulja boy Apple Laptops were the shit(4th grade playing games in class) The memories 😢😢😢
Ppl didnt like him when he was happy and ppl dont like him when he angry. Proof that you gotta live for yourself not others... also beats by dre was in all his videos.
@many saints yes but when I was growing up everyone loved now times have changed but soulja paved the way for up and coming artist so you can't hate him
All I heard was swag and getting money over and over again. I seriously rolled laughing at this song for being so fucking retarded.. Even funnier, three years laters, Hopsin put him in his place. Hopsin made solid disses about him, and when Soulja Boy tried to diss him back. He just made himself look like more of a joke than he already is.
Soulja was even sampled by Beyonce. Check out the end of her song called "Hold up" on the lemonade album. Soulja boy not lying about his influence on the music industry 💪🏽💪🏽
Listen to Beyonce's song hold up and at the end she sings 🎶 hop up out the bed and turn my swag on then look in the mirror says what's up🎶 that's Soulja Boy all day💪🏽💪🏽
Soulja really opened the doors for alot of the rap we here today. I remember I first heard this and everyone was saying "why he not even rapping" ?!? He was just flowing and saying the same thing over. Now today this is the norm. Respek !
He’s definitely responsible for dumbing down mainstream music and making it easy for non-talented people to be heard. He created a lane for the non-talented musician....so i agree
Man im truly blessed to be born in the 2000’s era, i was born in 2003, so i was 5 when this song came out 😂 but honestly Soulja was the truth during these times, I feel like atlanta was at its prime when Soulja was making hits
lizzydakid no....people did try to dress like him. He made the brands bathing ape and Yums popular in the African American community. I know the first time I saw Soulja with some bape shoes on I wanted them immediately, a few weeks later so many kids in my school had them, kids were also wearing the white framed sunglasses and painted the words “Soulja boy” on the lenses because he had them on in the crank dat music video.
Dorian Johnson idk wAt u tlkin bout but niggaz was wearing apes b4 yo was even heard of. Where I’m from no1 tryed 2 dress like him. U must b from da south or sumthing
Yeah but its mostly like the i made it song for me like i played this at my graduation party😂 and ima play it on my going away party when i level for basic air force training 😂
Yep he selling beats.. its likenif you dont do something to this I'm a just sing on it like this.... until someone like mann quit fuxking that up let me get that beat and a few hooks
So nostalgic. Fuck the quality. We are in our late 20s and 30s now. Of course we think its garbage. But to a hs kid or college kid, this guys music is connected to so many good times and good memories.. nd he DID influence alotttt of todays music.. so yea.. its time we leave this dude alone and start giving him the respect he deserves
HAAADAABADAAA BEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEED TUR MA SWAAAAAAG AAAAOWWWWWWWN TUK A LEEEK IN A MIRA SAWASOP YEEEEEEEEEEE IM GEDDIN MAANAAAAY AAAAAAAWWWWWOOOOOOOO
Back in high school when I dropped a girl off at her house after a date in the middle of the night, I used to blast this in my car on the way home with no cars on the road cause I was in a good mood and I was happy. That was good times back then and this was years ago.
At least it makes sense hes talking about money and bitches and swag! lol today's music just makes no sense whatsoever...baking soda and no types? Especially lifestyle....
Rap was cool in the 80s and 90s, but starting late 90s, all the rappers began to think that they were "gangster" or something. The act is just getting old, and now these rappers are really just trying to shove the "gangsta shit" down our throats.
