PART 1 ~ In her heart Leela asked Sai Baba for seva in her life when she retired. And seva, selfless service to others has been a major part of Leela's life ever since she and her husband Denis began a school in Zambia that was a part of their foundation to help others called The Other Side Foundation.
Leela's non-profit organization, started in 2007 remains committed to transforming the lives of children through education, nutrition and healthcare. Leela and Denis have helped effect lasting changes in Zambia and India through a wide range of initiatives, among them shaping young hearts and minds to learn with passion and lead with compassion. Their goal, to empower orphans and vulnerable children with employment and life skills through integrated, values-based education in a nurturing environment.
Leela, a long time follower of Sai Baba shares her story on Souljourns of love, hard work, daily problem solving and of reaping the benefits (smiling faces of others) of working long hours.
