The coordinates for the location are X: 180170 Y: 126494 Z: 30838 I rarely like making larger bases or castles, but I ended up really enjoying making this, I wanted something a little bit more defensive. which I feel this turned out really good, but what do you think? I hope you enjoy the build! and thank you for watching!
Its surprising not many other creators jumped onto this game, but I can also understand it, no creative mode does make creating content for Soulmask much longer when it comes to building. and it requires more planning. I think the game is fun though, most likely I will be making more buildings, maybe a little slower than usual because of the challenges when making them.
Depens, u looking for nice RP builds? Look at Conan bases, since the building here is almost the same. U want a PvP Base? Look at some degenerate Rust base builds, cuz for PvP the base building is almost the same as Rust xD
@@sugarfree5055 yeah im more into RP builds, I have a high amount of respect for people optimising for pvp but thats just not me. and I was pretty comfortable with this games building system because Iv played conan before. never put any videos out on my channel from it but I enjoyed that game too.
Really enjoy you putting these together. Wish though they were not all on the beach, finding nice perfectly flat areas for a place this big near the metals isn't easy and stacking foundations can be a wench :) Thanks again.
its mainly due to lighting, Iv wanted to set up a base in the forest, but the lighting for thumbnail and the building video itself is much easier to follow with good lighting / no trees in the way to cast long shadows. I will most likely try and find a good spot in the forest though, iv just been taking the easy route so far with the beach.
I liked this build so much that after making one in Soulmask I then did my best to recreate it in Valheim. Which had it's little challenges. For instance stairs in Valheim take 3 squares to go up a floor. Also i butchered the roof but look forward to fixing it with some time.
i did try the base and honnestly the building is what i needed . i did some modification tho . Like the rempart i do + 6 on each side not on the front plus before adding 24 and a gate when im at the point of closing the wall /barrier . i put the Bonfire under a small/medium round/hexagonal building and its cover all my base so i have more space for the garden , animal , stall , hygiene etc . i also was able to make a temple an a medium building for the portal too . on each side of the gate it as 2 high tower under the guard of two of my tribemen Took me a couple time to figured out the right amount of everything but im happy with how its going/ thanks for the idea
I plan on making more! I am loving the NPCS running around the base and doing things, It makes the bases feel alive. I am still early in the game though, and these take quite a bit of planning, so they may not come as fast as my usual building videos, or at least the super large builds. smaller more dedicated builds like workshops may come faster.
Really good one for our tribe we are currently in iron tier and all the benches are upgraded so I just need to improvise this and make it more large base thanks :)
That looks majestic, bad, is absolutly symply and logic. :D Nice work, man. I like it. Is most for a real grind for all materials, bad is a great looks. Thanx.
Great work and design. Too small for my current level though. Looking forward to a larger build that takes advantage of the entire bonfire coverage area.
Not bad, simple and easy, I like it 😉. But people keep in mind that most work structures will have two or three upgrades addionaly. So if you plan to keep this build you will have to rearrange a bit. Zero did said early game 🤗
This. As you get to the point of upgrading your crafting stations its size change too, you'll find it fast that this base is tiny, unless you build upwards then it might work. Depending on how often you play this game and how fast I suggest to start big, it's mostly wood anyway which is abundant in the game. Looks nice though.
I just make a box and call it a day. I've never been good at designing stuff. The construction hammer makes deconstructing stuff easier since you dont have to climb.
nah every type of build has its own use and good parts and bad parts, I'm sure yours looks awesome too :D Edit: But thank you! I appreciate the compliment!
Love the video's, love the base ideas. I was wondering with all the you've built would you show the result of putting everything together in one big base with a wooden fence around them all.
possibly, I am still putting together builds that work well together, like the alpaca pen im going to put a video out on today and the chief hut would work well in the same village,
@@SNEAKY_TURTLE07 it should just be the first wooden foundation you unlock, soulmask doesnt have a ton of material veriaty. so there is only one kind of wood foundation.
I haven't reached end game yet, but looking forward to it, Thanks for the heads up though, this is quite big compared to what I usually build but i'll start thinking a little bigger for my end game designs.
Good guide. Liked and subbed. Cant wait to see what else you come up with. The building list was a huge help. Know any flat ish spots not on the beach?
I'm glad it helped! and Im going to be exploring to find some nice spots to build soon, I know just behind the claw tribes copper mine there is a ravine that has some nice flat area's im considering building there myself but its also filled with tougher animals. so still looking for more spots before I settle there.
its right across from the salt mine on the beach close to the starting area. The co-ordinates are X: 180170 Y: 126494 Z: 30838 Just incase you want to put a map marker down for it.
really it was just an aesthetic choice, since I was building more of a castle / fortress I avoided windows to make it look less like a house. that being said, it's entirely possible to put windows in if you end up building it or something similar. but there was no practical or structural reason.
yeah I wouldn't build this in a pvp server lol, but so far I haven't had any AI raids do they happen deeper into the jungle or is it triggered by anything else?
This is built on the beach just near the flint tribe salt mine, The co-ordinates are X: 180170 Y: 126494 Z: 30838 If you want to make a map marker to find it easily.
XD funny enough the reason for it is the feeling, I Don't like using the in game music in a video, But I want to capture a similar feeling, so I often look at similar games soundtracks for music choices. (I got this comment alot in enshrouded when I used valheim music too 😂)
yeah it is a PvE base, I often find the PvP community in a game dies long before the PvE community does, because offline raiding and toxicity is so prevalent in that community it drives people away. so I made the decision to only make PvE content due to the PvP player base dwindling very fast on survival games. leaving only the "pro" players who don't particularly need help most of the time. as they are usually very experienced players who know the game very well.
