I love this series, but it is ALOT lighter than dark souls. The tunes on the souls games are epiphanies of unconquerable enemies. They offer no hope, a bot different than this. But God job. 👍

This track, in particular, was focused on the fight with Maria in the way that it is something of a dance, like a classical swordfight. All of the different changes in the song change the way the 'dance' movements go as you lose yourself to the battle. In a lot of ways, this wasn't a track I was looking to make as dark as the source material. It is easily one of my favourite songs in the series so I diverged to make something a bit different. I hope that my explanation helped clear things up a bit. I'm glad that you enjoy the album and hope you like my new upcoming work as well!
