I love how slash doesnt showboat. He stays out of the way when sitting in, plays for the song, steps up when its his time, then can easily duck out of the way of the band he is sitting in with. He is a tasteful musician that way. Always shows respect. Now that he is embracing his blues roots.. Hes just going to get better and better..
@@youropionmattersnot They are musicians and peers in the industry. They aren’t in a competition. He respects Warren. I think Warren respects Saul. If you ever saw him sit in with Les Paul, or BB King, he is very respectful to other musicians and they are very respectful to him. It isnt a competition man. This isnt football. Its da bloooooooose!
Miles is one of my favorite vocalists that's able to tap into that special place. What I mean is, you wouldn't expect him to belt and have pipes like he does if you heard his speaking voice! Also is such a humble dude.
What a great song waren hayes great musician miss him derek trucks playing together playing music is meant to be enjoyed peace out an let your soulshine 😊😊😊😊❤
Telluride blues and brews maybe...1999? Warren Haynes brings out his 14 year nephew. And this little kid gets on stage and proceeds to melt 30,000 faces. Epic moment.
@@fircykfircyk488 OK I'll take the bait. Slash is a phenomenal player, but a 212 combo is not a couple Marshall stacks. I'd rather hear some less gain and more tone, but as far as rhythm sometimes less is more, and that is just my opinion. He was enjoying himself and plays with passion, which I love. I guess I was expecting something different. The fact he was on that stage with these guys speaks for itself. I am thinking about buying his new album, but I'll have to hear some more before I buy it. I buy CD's still for now and always try to support the artists i am drawn to. Yeah and there was also a little whiskey involved.
Slash did blues for a while back in the day after GnR and he just put out a really great blues album. I'm pretty sure he's headlining this SERPENT tour of blue music...
