Yall are over complicating this. Once you tap square twice, you'll feel a vibration and also your weapons will flash gold. Once that happens just press square 3 times and you got it. And dont forget one of them you need to press triangle, etc. Another way to make it easier is to save up your essence of harmony and do it on the Ascension stage. Save your game to the cloud before the stage in case you need to retry. Use your harmony's to get 3 synergys and you'll have to build the rest up on your own. I did it on the easiest difficulty and built my unity up with just triangle.
Also you don't even need to hit the enemies, you simply just need to perform the synergy moves. The trophy pops as soon as you complete the task in case yoire wondering so dont play the entire chapter thinking it pops at the end.
The synergy attack mechanic is fucking broken man. I'll get the unity up(which is a nightmare by the way) then do the combo which should trigger the attack. Aaaaand it doesn't. Then I lose the Unity. I went through almost half the game before I triggered one. Super... oh there's a challenge for it too. Fuck that. -Unity drains too fast -Enemies almost never flinch enough to build Unity efficiently -Synergy Attack locked behind multiple use conditions and is then random on activation. Man... good design choices.
Its actually pretty easy when you get a lot of upgrades for lute. Some that help you keep unity and build it 😁 Then it activates all the time during fights. Also, only got a few of the attacks during my first playthrough 😅 Get some more upgrades!
@@BenGun Saying it's easy when you have a lot of upgrades for Lute is exactly the problem; I'm trying to do the Synergic challenge and was baffled how everyone seemed to do them so easily. Guessing they have upgrades I don't :(
It takes _so damn long_ to build up Unity, even taking zero hits and using Lute to counter everything that she can counter. Thankfully now I got an upgrade that lets me do Synergy attacks "at a lower Unity threshold"... hope it makes things easier...
This is what I don't understand how to activate them, I already bought the synergy skills with each weapon... When the drawing of the sisters turns yellow, what do I have to press on the control?
Just the combo 😁 It activates at the end of the combo! (Square square, pause, square, square, square, square) - always the same. I know the mechanic is a bit wonky 😅
On chapter 5 and i think ive pulled this of 1 or 2 times they made this mechanic too overly complicated it would be way more enjoyable if you build up then a just press a quicktime bitton to activate this synergy bs im not saying i want some over simplified combat but this particular part would be far more enjoyable simplified other the that the combat is great
