I thaught that valentino was a very powerful customer of the stripper club where angel works, but be angels boss makes also sense why he treats him like this, and how angel get "happy" when charlie gave him a bunch of money only for "accept" the deal. His face was surprised😍 maybe cuz he doesn't gets a relative amount of money from valentino, thats why he said that, after all, it would be good to stay at the hotel, where he could sleep and eat every day like a respectable demon 😢😢👌and the way like valentino spoke to him, like he was some kind of "slave" and having to suck his.boss dick etc often to havent problems with him and the videoclip "addict" completes this story, when was the first time when angel was cruelly raped by his boss valentino and in this comic technically have passed some months from the addict video,.but before cherry destroyed the stripper club where he works. This comic is like a middle situation between the first night with his disgusting boss and the freedom that cherry his frend gave to him, and then is when we see hazbinhotel pilot episode

I'd imagine most people in hell aren't irredeemably bad. Allot of bad people who we think should go to hell still have positive traits. Murderous gangbangers still feel loyalty to their crew like they're family, Klan members likewise still love their kids, religous fanatics think they're doing the right thing. All three of these Definitely deserve some punishment in the afterlife, but there's something of worth buried in there that given the right opportunity, and time might be able to be salvaged. Then there's folks like Alastor, Val and Stolis who are so far gone, it would take less time for the Universe to enter Heat Death than nurture anything redeemable in their souls.

And, Viv released some clips and sneakpeaks of some of the helluva episodes they're working on in a hunicast stream, and in one you can see Stolas is just a giant softie. He loves his daughter to pieces and he invites blitz and the gang to come to a carnival with him. But val and alastor, yeah they're a bit too deep into that shiz to even wAnt redemption.

That's true, and also idk if you've noticed but when in the pilot Angel jokes about how they don't have anyone at the hotel and sees that he upset Charlie, he seems to feel bad and he almost reached out to her to apologize but then he pulled away and turned around

I thought it was touching how when Charlie told Angel ' _there's more to him than he thinks_ ' Angel becomes all quiet and awkward afterwards like nobody's ever said something that nice to him before... then he goes and contemplates the idea of redemption alone in his room... in a way that seems like he's more doubting the idea of a demon as far gone as himself being redeemed than the idea of redemption itself.

I've heard a rumor that Charlie is possibly more powerful than Alastor (given she's the daughter of Lucifer) but her control over her temperament is holding her back from using her full power. Again, just a rumor I'm not sure if it's canon.

There's also an important detail in chapter 1 charlie gives angel money for valentino so angel wouldn't have to use his body so immediately he went back home straight after they spoke. She really did care.
