Your videos also tend to often correlate the music pace and the visuals. By adding sound effects, in order to keep your style intact I guess you really need to calibrate the type and intensity of those, as they can easily become predominant over the music, thus obnoxious. Good luck and keep it up!

I'd even add the lack of SFX adds to the charm and even helps to create a special atmosphere. How many times I've seen people trying to add SFX to their dogfights and it ends up very cheap and almost distracting (see Rebel's MMD danmaku video, sm32573642 on Nico Nico Douga). But I must admit this is looking good so far. What is shown already sounds better than some other attempts (but not pandarabox' ones, too bad they went inactive after posting that Marisa vs. Flandre attempt, search for *魔理沙とフランドールの弾幕ごっこ SeMix Demo(未完成)* on RU-vid). However, creating appropriate and matching sound design might even consume more time during the making. That's why I still have a preference for music only mixes in this particular case even though I like when other people try creating SFX mixes on their own.

Personally I find them more enjoyable without SFX, the music blends well with the attacks. In any case anything you do ends up having incredible results.
