Thanks for a great video! I was wondering if you could expand on the addtional tracks? I'm trying to figure out how to access tracks 9-16 on my 888, and for the life of me I'm failing to understand. Thanks for the in-depth video and keep up the great work!

Hi Curtis, You are talking about sending a different mix to each person of interest: director, script, camera, producer, etc. I know the mixer can do that, but your “comteks” can’t. What kind of magical IFBs are you using. I like the Zaxcom URX100s with a camlink transmitter. They can receive a stereo signal from the camlink but there is only one transmitter for all the URX100s. How is each person receiving their custom mix? Thanks, Mathew

Hi Matthew, to clarify, I'm saying that it is POSSIBLE to send different mixes to different crew members IF you use a separate transmitter for each mix you're sending and each of those transmitters is connected to a different output on the mixer. In my practical work, I typically just have a crew mix which is often just the boom microphone because I don't want people to get confused or concerned when listening to out of phase lav mics along with the boom mic.

@@curtisjudd I have thought about sending the crew the boom on the left HP and the lavs on the right HP, because that is what I would want; and I think it's important for the Script Supervisor. Also, you can add a delay to each channel so everything is in sync.

Hello Curtis, Sorry for offtopic. I have problem with audio Syncing in Davinci Resolve using Wave Form. Canon R5 (audio is on Auto on camera, using built in mic) (29,97 FPS, 4K) + video is recorded to Ninja V( Prores) and Audio is recorded to Mixpre 6 II with Mkh8050 (48khz, 32bit) > Could you help me what should I do to have proper sync. What do I do wrong? Thanks for help !

Is the camera capturing good enough audio so that Resolve has a decent reference for syncing the MixPre clips? That's the first thing I'd check.

Looking at your power solution - I’m still using two batteries on the back of my 833. The PSC Triple Play units I can find only have lights indicating power, no LED display like yours. Would you still recommend PSC? Thanks

Interesting, looks like they changed the design. Yes, I'd still opt for the Triple play, even without the voltage readout. Having those three inputs from three different battery/power sources is important for my sound cart setup.
