just finished my second run last month. Have skipped the dlcs thus far. Am correcting that error now.

this is the first witcher game? pc game? is witcher one more playable that the following ones/? (ie storyline is more important to me than graphics)

@@MarcDufresneosorusrex Each of the 3 Witcher games have different game play mechanics, but all are good. The first Witcher game, you can tell, was made with consoles in mind but never made it for some reason. The thing I loved about the first one was that it did not hold your hand and say "go this way". Story line was good for the first game, I recommend it. Then as soon as you finish it, play Witcher 2, then 3 if you want. By that point you should be in 2021. XD

Yeah cyberpunk was alright story wise. Good even. But all I really remember are the trailer scene with panam falling asleep with V, and the ending. But even the ending I barely remember. Boss fight was forgettable. Not to mention my immersion being broken during boss fights by constant crashing But the Witcher? I can recall every single detail. It just doesn't compare at all. And I'vs beaten the Witcher maybe four or five times. It's only ever crashed like twice

@@thenovicewhispers Because CP77 is too short for that kind of game. As You said - it's ok but if You want to get such strong feelings as You got in Witcher 3, You need more time in this world. In CP77 everything felt rushed and too short. And every memorable scene was already in launch trailer. Comparing it to Wild Hunt, it's like the main plot would finish after the Velen. No Skellige, no preparation in Kaer Morhen, no searching for the help of lodge. Just finishing the search in Velen, then heading straight to mist island and then "final" fight with Eredin. It could work and game wouldn't be bad. But at the same time it wouldn't be anything special. Just typical story about hero finding his daughter. One of the strongest values of Witcher 3 was the fact that it was in fact built from the several different stories. With different characters and tones. Blood Barone, Keira, Gangs of Novigrad, Triss and Witch hunters, Yen and Skellige, Kaer Morhen etc. etc. there was so much in that game that stays in memory... On the other hand, CP77 gives to the player no chance to actually get immersed to the world. If they get us a chance to know Night City, play in it for several hours and then used the microchip moment as the plot twist in something like 2/3 of the game it could be so much better. It should be the turn-point of the whole plot like the moment when we found Ciri in W3. Instead it was rather like meeting Yen in White Orchard... So IMO CP77 plot should look something like this: 5-10h prologue - 30-40h of gameplay in NC working on different quests in order to build our reputation - Keanu Reeves plot twist - 10-15h of searches for the cure - 5h preparations and final action trying to get the cure - 2h epilogues

Read the books. There's so much more story I had no idea about when playing TW3. Trust me it's worth your time

@Alex Atasi Witcher 4 and 5 will be out by then. CDProjectRed actually listens to its fans and makes games we want, unlike Bethesda.

Or possibly until CDprojekt finishes Cyberpunk? I have high hopes for that game too.

@@brisun100 Doubt Cyberpunk will beat it. Thing is, the more you identify with shit, the better the game is for you. I mean, I see myself plowing the field rather than having an cybernetic arm. I guess many people feel the same. Besides, W3 represents our European culture, while Cyberpunk is, I presume, just some sci-fi mishmash no one can even relate to. And let's not forget that inner desire to commune with nature that everyone has. I find running through woods more enjoyable than being in a crowded city.

Varskar Agreed. I’ll try Cyberpunk out, since it’s made by CDPR, but futuristic sci-fi games like that have never been my thing. For me, fantasy games are the best types of game settings. For RPGs and adventure games, at least.

I never saw the Witcher as the best game ever made because I don't think any game deserves such title. That said, there is something special about this game that makes people play it again and again and I'm not sure what it is exactly.

Wait till you.actually experience loss then cry about that. A good experience is not loss .... I'm an artist so I relish it all, I can create it myself, I guess others can't put it to use. But damn, I guess many.wpuld be better off never experiencing anything good cause you can't appreciate it , you just get greedy ... it says alot about different types of ppl. There will be other good games, and experiences. But some really can't use your non existant imaginations, can you ? Ppl like me have to create stuff to entertain you / fascinate and bewilder you. Its a common sample pack that has been used in many other games. most of Homm4's music was made purely from those sample packs because of the tight budget and time, as the company went bankrupt mid development.

If you mean the funeral where you first go to skellige those are not crach's obviusly, those are king brans. However its a bumber that we never see crach after he dies, no funeral no nothing. He was in the books and geralts friend for a long time.

H4 version sounds more light tone whereas, the witcher 3 version has a darker tone with respect to the Quest and The Decision You Take😉. Done it. The worst part of the game TBH. Exploring every single ? on a sea with all the sirens was just boring and iritating. But completing the game in 100% is totally worth it.

A hard way to live unfortunately bc most games are nowhere close to this one. I personally have to lower my standards to enjoy some other games. As long as I don't have to turn my brain off to enjoy it I'll give it a try lol
