Hello sir. Im new to this whole powered speakers and powered sub. How did you connect the speaker to the sub? Did you use the thru input on the back of the speaker then to the sub input? Thanks in advance

Oh snap-is Peavy trying to make a mainstream comeback? I would like to hear those in person -will they be on the exhibit hall at Dj Expo?

The first audio sample sounded classic Peavey bright high frequency with a big dip in the midrange which makes it sound muddy so to speak. I also thought that settings 1-7 sounded barely different at all very subtle, setting 8 sounded a little better in the lower midrange with slightly more lower midrange warmth but still that classic Peavey lack of midrange clarity. I've owned much Peavey speaker cabs in the past and they've always had that high frequency which is slightly forward, meaning a little too bright and they've always had that lack of midrange clarity. But I do think though this is because Peavey have always been very much a rock band speaker manufacturer, I know they've moved quite a bit but even now a pair of FBT X-Lite 12A cabs sound better in the midrange.

I have DM 112's.. the fuse keeps blowing and the tweeter also fried.. took it back to guitar center about a month ago so they sent me to a repair shop where it's been since, sent back to Peavey for a problem that is developing with this model. They sound good but something isn't working out.. I believe it's amp related.

i play in covers band and i dont want mediocre shit sound, i started out with peavey p215s and they are crap, these are cheap vs going all out and spending thousands on yamahas that I know would sound amazing, but would these disapoint me or what do you think?!? any advice would be great, I Dont want to buy something and wish i had done something else instead.
