I love to hear John Stuart Reid speak about the science behind sound healing. Now I can explain these theories to my singing bowl audience as to why they feel the way they do. Another pioneer in sound healing is Sharry Edwards of Human BioAcoustics fame: she uses low frequency sound to entrain the body to a state of health.

It can be dangerous to go into a hospital! I went in for kidney stone removal 6 years ago and ended up with a hospital acquired bacterial superbug infection that turned to sepsis and now have been in suffering and disability ever since.. Sound might not heal me, but the right sound helps sometimes with mood and relaxation.

The word as mentioned in the Bible is the sound of God, which has light as well. Everything seen and unseen comes from this. 🙏🏻 It's sited in all the scriptures under different names such as Shabd, Nada, Tao, Celestial Music, Music of the Spheres, Kalma and of course Word.

Fascinating, learned so much on different topics, very accessible and makes so much sense I feel I can already explain it back to friends and family Wish I had insisted more with my grandpa who suffered a lot of pain that he would listen to more music... He had a good sound system which could produce good bass sounds, but he'd rather watch the toxic news channels :(

Excellent presentation Just a point that cortisol is a hormone produced in response to stress and is an anti inflammatory response. The stress hormones are adrenaline and noradrenaline. The problem is that with chronic stress we become resistant to the anti inflammatory effects of cortisol.

Are there frequencies that can optimize the absorption of oxygen or the utilization of oxygen in the body?

is there a device we can use to see the tone produced to allow us to tune or change the tone?

So how to record sound from a cell in vitro, Is the general sound therapy from practitioner can create same effect as playing sound from undifferentiated cells?

Am I happy with the idea that all of the sound bubble's information content is "recorded in each and every molecule" at the interfaces of each sound bubble? Not really! Why is that? I would prefer an explanation for the emergence of visible macro-scale structure and observation of distinct regional time-persistent "phases" (in which the local physical properties of pressure, temperature, density, humidity and, significantly, the speed of sound, have different values to that of the unexcited state) and supra-molecular organisation takes [probably] involving the orientation, trajectory, velocity and both intra- and inter- molecular vibrations) become "no longer randomly distributed" within the medium, and at the interfaces between gaseous and liquid molecules, when the sound energy is applied. There must be some Fourrier transforms going on, I think. Is the outcome predictable? But otherwise I cannot fault the presentation to this point
