@@DominikReviews that's nice to be honest I would have any interest in JBL future speakers anymore. I'll stick with BB3, as probably fixed it's performance in future updates 7.0.0+ I think it's enough update for boombox 3. Then uses EQ to even make it sound quite warm. I recommend 2 -1 0 for low volumes until 60% 2 -2 -1 for max volume
Got Boom 2 and ordered Xtreme 4 after listening to Xtreme 2 and 3. Boom 2 is definitely more musical, but also muffled with speech for its rised higher bass, lacks the deep bass. Fair for $150, but not exactly winner at every aspect.
@@DominikReviews No. I mean where is the proof. While Alan said that, I am afraid that his own measurements say otherwise. Watching his review, I was like WTF?!! Those passive radiators do not have more displacement volume on Boom 2, they are tuned higher and they are electronically cut off in the deep bass region. So I don't understand where the audacity of such claim can come from. Either it's not true or it is specific claim for volume levels above 70%. Now, I do audio engineering, I have measurement mic, and I will have both speakers. So bring it on. Bring on the data, I will be prepared to debunk that once for all.
@@DominikReviews Well, that's interesting. I saw my boom 2 rather stop moving the radiators under 47Hz. Now I tried with the generator again, and it behaves much better. Go figure! Anyways I have my doubts with your EQ settings on the JBL still. It might as well trigger some AGC feature to protect the signal from distortion, and you might be limiting the speaker that way. I believe it requires much more careful/scientific approach. Maybe not, but we don't know for sure. Anyways, getting both very soon, so I can test again and will report back. Many thanks. That would be really silly if $150 Boom 2 wrecked $450 JBL. 😂🤭
W sumie myśle o dwóch głośnikach jeden mały najprawdopodobniej flip 6 (mniejszy i wygrywa z motion 300) i drugi większy.
I actually made an eq for the xtreme 3 Wich makes it sound a lot better, Jbl screwred the xtreme 3 with a bad base eq and then just Increased the volumw on the x4, wich sounds even shittier, X3 with a good eq can get way louder than x4 and have more bass at higher volumes with my tests, porbably bevause the Box resonates more simce The battery is smaller
Didn't want to hear that. 😂 Just ordered Xtreme 4 on discount for bigger battery and less harsh highs than Xtreme 3. Though it can be somewhat bettered by EQ too, and definitely there is no need to listen loud on that one.
