@@-The-Golden-God- did you do the firmware update? I did the hearing test I. The app that analyzes the sound best suited to me. I added more bass to that and I’m pleased with it. Is it as robust as my soundcore pro 3s (not quite) but for the price and the ANC being as good as it is I think it is great. I think if they were able to put dual drivers in these and still keep the price down that would be amazing.

Hi! How good is the ANC compared to Apple AP 2P? I am blown away how good is the ANC on Apple but I have an android phone so yeah, I would go for Soundcore NC. Is it at least at 75 % level of isolation of the apple pods? I work in a very loud enviroment (krane) so I value ANC and fast pairing with the phone the most. Thanks!

As someone who owns several of both, trust me the L3P is hardly any standard by which to judge stemless designs. They're total outliers even among winged types. Love mine for sound but would never work out in them, too unstable. Among my most secure stemless buds is the Tozo T12 Pro. Among my most UNsecure stem designs in the JBL 230NC, which is polar opposite of my JBL Live Pro 2, a VERY secure stem type. Long story short, 'it depends' applies to buds of any type.

​@outermarker5801 I thought the JBL Live pro 2 were garbage had to return them. Noise canceling seamed to work but not for people on the other end of the call. They complained so much about background noise being way to loud & I found myself barly moving when on calls so I didn't create to much noise. Every one I've tried so far that claim to block out background noise only blocks it out for you but the person your talking to not so much. The hunt has been very frustrating.

@@michaeldavis6550 Don't know when you had them but there was a fw update last time I connected mine to the app. Can't say I've had huge call quality issues but maybe you make more calls in more conditions than I do.

They're good, but they sound not better than the 4i. The only thing which is significantly better is the button handling during sports. You can customize quite a lot in the Soundcore app (single, double, triple tap...). So for single tap I set no action to prevent that something happens when touching the headphones to adjust etc.

I just tested the 4NC against the Earfun Air Pro 3 on that matter and the AAC of the 4NC has 1/500th of a second more latency than the AptX Adaptive of the Ear Fun AP3. Not a big deal at all really and on things like RU-vid it tends to compensate for it after 10-15 seconds. The EarFun is more accurate out of the gate. I'm in two minds about which to stick with. The 4NC has better NC, but has an audible white noise with it turned on vs. off. This is present no matter which ANC option you choose in the app or with wind reduction on or off. There is something similar on the AP3, but barely perceptible. It sounds more natural. Ironically I had a set of £10 TWS before which offered ANC closer to my Bose NC700 than either of these. Go figure. I used comply foam tips with both the £10 TWS and the AP3, but do not have any to try for the 4NC due to the odd soundport shape and size. The sound is more immersive in the 4NC than the AP3. The Surround option in the app doesn't need to be used. It's not helpful and makes the sound thin. By default it has a better soundstage than the AP3. Bass on both is great, but on the AP3 I have to tune it down massively. Still, I found the 4NC brighter (in contrast to this video's thoughts), but found longer listening periods more tiring than the AP3. Since this video there's more options in the Earfun app, including a more tuneable EQ, but if I didn't have both earbuds side by side I would quickly get used to the AP3 and not miss that extra enjoyment the 4NC gives, and overall have a more comfortable listen over time. I have to say on some songs the extra brightness does tend to make it lose some clarity. I think AAC may have AptX beat on sound or maybe it's just these specific units, I don't know, but I use multipoint daily and on the Liberty 4NC you cannot use LDAC with this, which is a shame, but AAC is fine. AptX on the AP3 is great too, with the caveats on sound above. The areas where the UX is better on the 4NC is having customisable auto off. It defaults to 30 mins if no connection or not worn, but can be customised down as low as 5 minutes. The EarFuns switch off after 10 mins of no connection and they don't have wear detection. On that point, the Liberty are pretty neat to have that feature, but I don't know how much I'd use it. I sometimes wear two buds and remove one when I don't want to have both on, but would rather the audio didn't stop. It can luckily be disabled. Also more tweak-ability in the app for NC functions (e.g. transport types). You can also choose which taps and prompts to have audio feedback for more so than the Earfun app provides. The Earfun app does allow for changing the volume and language of the prompts though. Language settings are not needed for the 4NC which instead relies on a series of beeps. Hard to know what Normal / NC / Ambient mode you're in sometimes if you're listening to music. That said, when you have reached max volume the 4NC let out a distinct tone but the AP3 do not, so that's frustrating. You can also set it so that the 4NC touchpads doesn't register taps when the buds are not worn, so that works well as an added bonus of the wear detection. The areas where I dislike the UX of the Soundcore is the constant toast that pops up with battery life on the phone, the delay vs. the Earfun app for the app to "connect" and the actual touch pad sensitivity. Even with both ears in, sometimes the sensitivity on the 4NC is not accurate and often I have to try again. The AP3 design is such that there is an indent to avoid accidental taps but it is more accurate registering them when you do intend to. There was also an odd quirk where the custom controls reset to default until reconnecting them so that was odd. Connectivity is slightly better on the AP3. They're quicker to connect and have less odd behaviour when forcing disconnect from my laptop. Both work with multipoint fine, but the 4NC take a little longer to react to sounds from different sources. Range is fine on both with my phone but on the laptop the 4NC cuts out less when walking far away than the AP3, but my laptop is terrible for BT generally through walls. I like the case design on the 4NC but the lights are rather bright (would frustrate my wife when I'm taking a bud out to sleep with), and sometimes the release switch doesn't work first time. That said, when it works it actually makes it really easy to take these buds out onehanded. Really handy, but noisy upon closing. Again, the AP3 are better for quiet use at night to stop disturbing my wife - she's a sensitive sleeper to sound and light! On fit, I definitely agree with Aaron. The AP3 sit snug, and the Comply foam tips help me enjoy them more. I know there are tips now available for the 4NC but yet to try them. So pros and cons to both, and currently only a difference of £6 paid (with the AP3 being cheaper slightly). Hence I am not sure which to return.

Well, the stock EQ is always a little muffled on Anker, you can change it to something cleaner in custom EQ.

I absolutely love my Air Pro 3s, I use them all the time and the multipoint connection between my PC and phone is flawless, they're seriously amazing earbuds and as you said for the price you just can't beat them.

@@KBKKOKUSANBUHIN I wrote my first comment about the earfun air pro 3 before I got the Liberty 4NC. Since that comment I got the liberty 4NC. Also looking at websites that have done scientific testing, the liberty 4nc have better noise cancelling. Don't get me wrong, the earfun air pro 3 is still great quality and performace for the price, but the liberty 4nc is newer and has surpassed it.

I like having noise cancelling. My pro 3s sound great, but I like these better because they block more noise. They are also easier to put in my ears.

Liberty 3 pro has better sound quality, and microphones. But this has longer battery life and newer active noise cancellation technology. I think this also has any more pocketable case. Personally I'm not crazy about STEM designs. But I tend to be a minority in that. So I lean towards the Liberty 3 pro. But if you don't mind it's time design it's compelling to get the better battery life. Space a40 could be an option as well, just because it also has much better battery life but weaker driver technology and microphones. Liberty 4 and the Liberty 3 pro cost a premium because they have more expensive driver technology. On features it's pretty much a watch though, or even just a straight up win for this space a 40 and the Liberty 4 nc just because of getting like 30 to 40% more battery life per charge

Oh that's disappointing. Obviously it's just one small sample size of one from a stranger on the internet but anytime a new product comes out these days I'm trying to avoid buying them at launch. Everything gets super hyped up and it just makes sense to wait until regular people get their hands on them and can report on them without worrying about squandering there RU-vid partnerships and relationships with sound core (let's face it nobody wants to turn down the sound core sponsor content or early access these days and why would they). All that said, I'm surprised you can at least eq it to get some satisfaction. Whatever you think of soundcore, their EQ and app is pretty much best in class. Unless you have something with a parametric EQ like the qudilek 5k or moondrop little white

@@Wesjapa100 if that test says it doesnt, it sure as hell doesnt fit well in your ears. If it says it does I agree with you that it still might not seal well even though the app says it does.
