Hey everyone! This was intended to be a short video but I couldn't help but go in depth! There was a lot more to cover than I expected. Iv'e probably missed a few things so let me know in the comments your experience with any of these buds!
Great video, I’ve loved the 4 NC although the ear fit can get sore with my ears and well as the feeling of the anc can get nauseous. I was thinking of going for The X 20s because of the comfort. How much sound quality am I losing compared to the 4 NC?
thank you very much for your time and efforts!!!! ! i'm stilll on L3P and they are really loosing battery power after 2 years of prolongue use - i'm using mone phone regularly for speaking and enjoy music also. The thing is - i'm really addicted to instument separation thing and wide stage. I couldn't find anything like L3P in this area. Yes, I miss the more forward vocal thing, but no sony or even b&o could replace them for me unfortunatly. the only thing i didnt check yet is Techniqs az-80. Thanks for your review, I would surely try L4Pro and see whether they can be a replacement for my lovely model =) if you can comment on what I should else check on with my likings (instrument separation & wide stage), I would be very grateful. Oh, and they say there is some unique Japanese Aviot TE-ZX1 that uses 3 different type drivers that could also give nice separation. didnt try them yet =(
Thank you for highlighting the customisable controls for a single bud being different to when using both. It's actually one of the best things about the 4NC and I'm sure on the 4 Pro too.
Nice detailed comparison & as a owner of a few Soundcore products, it's fair to say any of these options are overall good & worthy of getting. Thanks for the great Picky work💯💪👍
Great comparison review! If I hadn't gotten the Earfun Air Pro 4s I probably would have jumped on the Liberty 4 Pros. Luckily those Earfuns are probably some of the best buds I have ever owned. Overall even better than my old XM4s.
Is the Liberty Pro 4 Bluetooth 5.3 or 5.4? Different reviewers list different Bluetooth technology and Anker doesn't have the definite information on their website.
Been using for a year. Unlike airpods, this will last for more than 5 years at least due to the huge battery backup it has. Solid choice. ANC close to airpods pro 2 🎖️
I'll throw my coin in the hat! I've been using L4NC from last September and I think getting that is gonna be the play IF AND ONLY IF your main priority is ANC, battery life and music, in that order(and maybe the latency thing too, which you activate through the app or touch control customization). You can use other reviewers' sound capture to compare this! And if you're thinking what I'm gonna be upgrading to next, I have my eyes on the new Bose QC Buds Gen 2 when it goes on sale, probably next year, cause the battery life on my L4NC is STILL ABSOLUTELY CRAZY GOOD.
Man, you are crazy, but in a good way. Thank you! Your reviews are at a different level. Can't recommend using the 4 NC during the ascent of a plane flight, it messed up my hearing for a few days. Lesson learned. HearID works great for me, as my hearing is not too good at it seems to compensate well. Soundcore seems to making more than decent buds these days.
Nice video. My only criticism is that I think it's hard to do the earbuds justice by not talking about the driver sizes and types when referring to sound quality. The Liberty 3 pro uses a large driver for bass, and a Balanced Armature to deliver really clean highs, which can come off very strong if you're not use to multi-driver earbuds. The Liberty 4 also has a multi-driver setup, but the bass driver is smaller, and the 2nd driver is just an even smaller "regular" driver, and has a weird sound signature unless you eq the last two bands. The Liberty 4NC only uses one large driver in each bud. Good for bass but you really have to eq them to bring up the mids and highs because its one driver... Dynamics are harder. The Liberty 4 Pro is the best by far because they use a bass driver thats larger than the Pro 3, and the second driver is actually a tweeter. Mids sound amazing, and when you eq them you actually get responsive results. I love these wirh a flat EQ but that's just me.
Wild. I have the exact opposite issue. Im a head head guy. I dont have small ears. The 3pro are the best fitting most comfortable buds ive ever had. Wanting badly to replace them with an upgrade instead of buying more 3pro .. i was waiting patiently for 4 pro. Stem style again. I have 4nc and they require constant adjustment and refitting. Just walking around the shop is enough ro jostle them out much less any kind of physical activity.
@@Hijynx87 I have comply rips on the way but I hate the idea that I need third party stuff to make them work for me. The 3 pros were wonderful and had so much customization for fit with all the wings and tips. They're rock solid in my ears. I just don't understand the giant push for the stem form factor.
Although I have small ears, I’m small myself. But the 3 pro also holds up great with the sports wings, even my ears don’t hurt after them. When the driver from the oncoming lane overtook and drove into our bus, I didn’t even need to adjust my headphones, they sat clearly and confidently. (No one was hurt)
Hey, so I really like your super detailed videos on wireless earbuds. Will you be making a video on JBL's premium set of earbuds. Specially the JBL Live beam 3. I am deciding on buying them. I really want a detailed review given by you because of the depth you tell things about all the buds. Really love your videos man
Thanks for video I had 4 and 4NC, now I have 3 pro. No matter what anyone says, the whole sound is spoiled by peaks at high frequencies. In 4 terrible large peaks. Don't even try to remove these peaks without damaging the high frequencies - you'll only kill your nerves. I tried with various graphic equalizers, I tried parametric ones: PowerAmp, I used the Squiglink + Wavelet combination, but I couldn’t, no matter what curves I set. I’m really looking forward to when these Ankers are brought to the Russia, judging by their frequency response - they have finally begun to move away from these peaks. Sorry for the mistakes, I used a translator :/
I still Like the Original Liberty 4, For Two reasons - The Oval shaped very soft CloudComform Buds really makes a difference They’re also one of the smallest and minimal among all.
I hate that there are no wings. I can't wear earbuds without wings when I sweat. Will you review the linkbuds fit when they come out? I want those but I refuse to buy earbuds until you review them.
I'm into IEM now. Currently using Moondrop May. I may not go back to midrange earbuds but I do use budget earbuds when washing my laundry. I'm currently using Baseus Bowie Ma10. Good earbuds for its $25 price.
Is the Earfun Pro 4 still your best budget wireless earbuds?

Good evening.. U R the best & most honest tech reviewer I have ever watched... Ur videos R enlightening.. 1 question I have.... What u think better tape or aqueez controls for earbuds?
This is the exact video im after. Ive always liked the sound of the L3P and the L2P but with the 3's ive found them uncomfortable for long periods of time. I want to know if the 4s sound better, the other features im not too fussed about, but no one has mentioned drivers vs armature yet....
I received the liberty 4 pro yesterday (Oct 10 2024), I sent it back to Amazon, mainly because they didn't send me the free protection, but I had time to test it After applying the buds and box latest firmware upgrade. There are 2 errors in your video the liberty 4 pro works on Bluetooth 3 not Bluetooth 4, And the spatial mode cannot work with ldac. It's not a loose, becau although I love spacial on some brands, on this one I find it sloppy, adding artificial warmth to the sound, and I was glad to let go on it. I am not a player so I didn't try the gaming mode. This being said, I happen to have good other earbuds. The sound of these ones is slightly better than them, due to an impressive personalized tuning. I must tell you that I am 69 , and my hearing is not the same as when I was a teenager. I also have a slight acouphènes problem that doesn't spoil my life. And my earbuds must cope with that.. I also have another problem: I am allergic to some earbuds. I only had a small times to find out with these, but I notice no start of an allergic reaction. The sound of those earbuds is the best I ever had, but I would say that the next ones are only less than 5% away. For a price almost double that what I paid, The anc is very good, even for the voices. I turned the tv on at a normal level When they was playing music at a normal volume I could not hear the tv any more. With the same program and another pair with anc on, I still could hear the voices a little. I didn't try the charging features. So my impression is that those buds are really very good. But are they worth the over $100 pricetag when my others pairs are more likely to be priced around $50 now. I would say that they are slightly too expensive compared to their competitors. So for sure I will consider buying them again, but only when a promo will arise. If you don't have a good pair of earbuds now and want to have only 1 pair,, you will make no mistake buying those. Otherwise, wait for a better price. If you already have a good
I think I'll wait for the 4 pros to go on sale. It appears the improvements on them do not justify the price based on the reviews I have seen. Personally I really want them because of the controls and the openness in sound quality. I love the 4 NCs, but the touch controls are not ideal on stem earbuds.
Perfectly timed excellent video. I'm deciding to which to go for. 4 nc it is! Though listening on my Status Between ANC which sound awesome. But anc isn't in the same league as apple airpods pro 2.
I'm rather disappointed with the 4 Pro, but it's because of the lack of a low latency mode for gaming. Which really sucks as the Liberty 4 NC were legitimately good buds, but my ears are weird and the stock ear tips wouldn't stay in my ear. And 3rd party tips were non existent as the nozzle for them was so shallow and flat compared to regular earbuds. That and the battery life was rather bad, even with LDAC turned off. I went down below 30% with 5 hours of use. (Wasn't even very loud, I was just below half the max volume) It sorta makes up for that with the quick charging in the case though which is surprisingly fast. They're overall great earbuds but the lack of low latency was the deal breaker for me. Hopefully they'll be updated with a dedicated low latency mode as they could support it since the 4 NC could.
Thank you I have the 4NCs and imma stick with um. The slide volume I don't want to get used to. 😂 But it means it'll keep the price of the 4NCs down and I want prolly 2more pairs.
Yaaa rigght.. Soundcore sound quality is up there almost the best. Upgraded from Edifier x3 to Soundcore, Good build quality too. As Soundcore Spirit X2 and X10 user.. Both earhook design stays on ear good. But Spirit X10 was uncomfortable to take off ear and must twist the hook making it fall often while storing it anywhere or back in charger. It was irritatingly annoying. . And lot o wind noise while riding bike. I switched to stem shape buds, first one Tribit flybuds C1. Good sound only at almost full volume. Small soundstage but decent comfortable listening as no distortion. Further upgrade to Cmf Buds pro 2, mutiple features, Spatial audio. Ldac(battery drainer, almost same sounding). Very loud, too much bass if selecting bass boost abovs 2. Very Bad fit in ears with stock tips and have to try hybrid silicon or memory foam tips later. Hey, do a review on good n best eartips, they r most important part of earbuds. Plenty of good sounding budget earbuds in market sub 50 dollars.. and midrange sub 100 dollars price .. But Soundcore has the top sounding buds that competes with higher more expensive branded buds. Am gonna get Liberty 4c, hows the fit? . Good review with highly distinct Aussie accent,, slow down a bit mate.( jus kdn) .., slow when you highlight the main points. I rarely refer to earbuds reviews but saw yur channel, has lots n lots o buds.. Sooo manyyyy.. How you pick yur favourite from sooo many??, well i suggest yu keep diffrent for various occasions.. Travel, bike ride, workout, sleep.,walk, commute train, plane etc etc... You right on earbuds test review champ, keep it upppp.Volummmee of the buds too. List the main points of each earbuds reviewed highlighted in description, Yaaa.!! 😊
I have at least one year with the Liberty 4 NC, since december 2023, and now I'm really bored, it's very umcomfortable (I run all weeks 3-4 times per week, in average 1 hour, I have to accommodate them from time to time), the battery of buds and case are draining really fast, and the microphones are getting worse, I'm looking for new earbuds, I'm liking the Oneplus Buds 3, let's see.
Help me. What’s available here are liberty 4(not pro), liberty 4nc, oppo enco air 3 pro, oppo enco x2, realme buds air 5 pro and realme buds air 6 pro. All for around 80usd. And then earfun air 4 pro and oneplus 3 buds 60usd and so on jesus there’s too much to choose from. Is it bad to buy 2-3 year old product? I like sound quality and battery only
OnePlus buds 3!!! i got the OnePlus pro 2 and they pretty much the same.. the bass is ridiculous on those, you wont regret it. I have a pretty expensive collection of earbuds and the OnePlus buds are the ones i choose when i want to rockout to some music. Plus i think OnePlus are far more Superior in build quality Than the buds you mentioned, some of have a budget look to them in my opinion. Whatever you choose stay picky and Enjoy !!!
@@Blu3_777 Thanks for sharing that, i just looked up oneplus 2 pro and if the buds 3 are on par in terms of sq and you like them, that’s really great and they are like half the price wow. And yeah looks like they have premium build compared to the others that looks plasticky and white :)
2 or 3 year old products vs newer stuff? I have quite a few well rated earbuds in my collection and would say the sound quality on some of the older buds does still compete with the new stuff (if you can EQ to your satisfaction). However I think it's fair to say expect better ANC, battery, App features, fit and reduced occlusion in many, if not most, of the newer buds.
I have the 4 pros a week now... great anc, Sound quality and comfy. Bad battery life 5 hours anc on vol 50%, bad windnoise even with windnoise toggle on, so not suitable for walking outside or cycling. Case too big.
Dislike paid ad how can 4 pro be better than 3 pro at being more secure fit when the 3 pro have wing tip even the video it shows 4 pro is not as secure
