Sad to suppose that Soundcraft could have used these large touchscreens better by enabling full-screen, detailed and touch-oriented operation of the modules in a channel strip. For example, when I touch the EQ module of Channel 8, I expect the whole Screen 1 to display its equalisation curve with parametric points which can be dragged for gain & freq modification and squeezed/expanded for bandwidth adjustment. Such type of convenient & instinctive display exists on most modern digital consoles, except for Si's and Vi's.
I like the way Soundcraft did it, cause you have to use your ears nor your eyes and everyone in my company says 2its an old console for an old guy" like me but this is a point everyone gives to me.
When you use it in 16ch mode, how do you change the channel settings (gain, pan, EQ, comp, ...) for the 9-16 channels? In the video it seems the vistonic screen only shows output information and no input settings.
