Soundgarden performing Fell On Black Days at the Susquehanna Bank Center in Camden, NJ on May 18, 2013 at the 93.3 WMMR MMRBQ. Chris invites a dude out of the crowd to play the guitar on the song.
As glad as I am that I can say that I technically got to see Soundgarden & Chris Cornell that day, I was in the lawn after Cheap Trick played because there’s an intermission period & it was so cold & raining hard that night I could barely hear Alice In Chains & Soundgarden. I wish I had the chance to see them again. R.I.P., Chris Cornell
For whatever reason, I come back to this performance each year after he passed. I understand the comments about Chris being standoffish, but really, he was just a quiet soul in the spotlight. I am not sure I understood that when I met him, but damn do I miss him. Voice of a generation. Loud love.
I was there!! It was my senior year of HS. Soundgarden has always been one of my favorite bands. So blessed I got to see Chris before his untimely death.
This show was amazing! First time I've ever seen Chris with Soundgarden (I saw him with Audioslave twice :p) Easily the greatest vocalist to have ever lived bar none.
Thanks, I don't know how I was able to do this. I usually get bad stage fright, the stars aligned for sure man. I was 21 when this concert happened, I'll be 28 soon, time flies for sure!
Question, do you have more from this set? I have the whole show recorded from the floor in 1080p, but I didn't set my microphone sensitivity and I botched the audio pretty bad, 4 years later and given some circumstances recently, I'd like to upload it. If you have any other audio from this or know where I could find it, that would be greatly appreciated.
