Vocals are something which I'm putting a lot of thought as to how to improve on currently, and I'm not focusing on one specific thing while recording them - I do naturally speak at this rate (if anything I've recently received some feedback that I should speak a little slower), so don't assume that I'm sacrificing clarity to achieve that. I've recently ordered an improved microphone, which will almost definitely help with clarity, however a lot of it does come down to practice, I'm afraid. Speaking to a microphone is actually quite a strange thing to do, and something that takes quite a bit of getting used to, so that's really my main issue at this point.
faster is better. Especially when you have a browser full of tabs on one type of earphone and want to get as much information as possible. In a short amount of time as possible.
+SuperUser its just ure accent, i was able to fully understand your speech with no trouble and found this review interesting as i have ordered a pair of e10s based off amazon reviews and its good to know that i made the right choice.
I'm English and it's my only language yet I failed to understand some things you said. I get that you spoke fast to get a lot in this short video though. Maybe next time work on your pronunciation but thank you for the review!
great review. also had the CX 300 ii for a few years now and always kept them in my pocket, having trouble with the cable mess every time. just ordered the E10S, they look very promising indeed!
After 3 (!) replacements of the E10 headphones by the reseller, in all cases one of the sides of the headphones stopped producing sound, I no longer believe that I was just unlucky. The product is not made to last. The sound quality is excellent, just be prepared to buy new ones in a couple of months.
Are these good enough for a friend who isn't that picky about audio but needs something since his broke but also as a birthday present or should I go to the e50s?
I could use these headphones for sport? or could damage for do this? ... I listen electronic music, what other headphone you recommend me for do sport and EDM? Thx.
While I doubt that you would damage the headphones by doing sport while wearing them, they're probably not ideal with this. From my experience, even with the correct ear-tips installed they can still come loose fairly easily, especially while running. These headphones also provide plenty of noise isolation, which again may not be perfect for sports. There are plenty of headphones that are designed for sports - I'd take a look at the Jaybird BlueBuds X, which, while quite pricey, provide fairly good sound, are Bluetooth compatible and have small ear cushions to keep them secure while you are active. I'm afraid I don't know too much about sports headphones, but hopefully this should help out.
Mine went into the Washer (put it in pockets accidentally and inserted into the water) and came out unaffected. Pretty durable with sweat and water I would say.
by the way there is 10% off for all SoundMagic models (here - www.mp4nation.net/headphones-earphones/soundmagic?acc=d1fe173d08e959397adf34b1d77e88d7) For sport I would recommend PL30, I use it already for 2 years, nice fit with ear hooks. Sorry for my English :)
I don't fu get it , if those hp are bad let's say with some vocals or have flaws than how they compare to creative ep-630 lol I listen to what ppl say and I don't get it those are suppose to be better
While filming this video I was running a port of the L Developer Preview, along with a leaked version of the Google Play Music app (with material design). Now that Google have posted factory images for the Nexus 4, I'm running stock Lollipop, along with the latest version of Google Play Music.
Both are very good options. Really, it comes down to what matters most to you. The CX300s sound very good for the money, but there's definitely a considerable upgrade in audio quality moving up to the E10s. For $10 more you not only get improved sound, but also the benefits of a better build overall (metal vs plastic construction) and other things such as a tangle resistant cable. If you have the extra $10 to spare I'd say it's worth it, but as I've said, it's up to you.
Well another thing is that I do like a slightly bassy sound signature, but not muddy. Thank you for the quick response. One last thing, how "durable" is the cx300s ?
Jen Li Regarding bass, the E10s definitely produce a cleaner, punchier bass than the CX300s, particularly at higher volumes - this was an area where I was a little disappointed with the CX300s. Durability of the CX300s is pretty good overall, but not perfect - they lasted about a year of use multiple times per day, being carried around in a pocket in their case. The E10s seem to be holding up absolutely fine aside from the small issue of the mesh, which seems to have sorted itself out.
+Psysence The E10S is the successor. They're finer tuned, have an angled jack and most parts are now made of aluminium. They also have a smartphone switch, which changes compatibility between Apple and Android smartphones.
I have been using the e10s' for a ouple of days now and have to say i'm not overly impressed considering the rave reviews they have been recieving. I like a failry loud output too but these seem really quiet
What about them left you disappointed? If it's to do with the sound signature of them, I'd recommend spending a few minutes tweaking your EQ to try to get it to your personal preference. As for the volume levels, these do seem to have slightly higher than average impedance, but nothing ridiculous (with every device I have tested these with I can push them past the volume level which becomes uncomfortable for me). Check that you're using the right ear tips for yourself and that you've got a good seal - doing so will vastly improve the bass and volume, if that is what is causing the problem. Hope this helps.
WTF?? You need to use the right gummies try all out . I use it with my sansa clip zip and the sound is luxury , at first I heard screaming sound, but equalize my player and changed to double gummies and everything changed, then, sound was softer but energetic, definite with powerful bass. So you must put the headphones until bottom of you ear to listen better.
How'd your Sennheiser Buds meet their end? Headphones, and Earphones don't just die out. If you take care of them, they last a long fucking time. But if you mistreat them, or use them in harsh conditions they'll die.
ahnvx After about a year of heavy use (multiple times per day), the cable started to give out. I'd like to think I take good care of my headphones, but there have been occasions where I've tugged a bit too harshly on the cord, and so I do have to take some responsibility for this happening. But considering the CX300IIs were only about £15 when I bought them, I'd say they had a good run.
My bro had the cx300 and the cheap flimsy wire is what gave out in about 6 months, I've had a pair of Jvc xx for over 3 years now, and Soundmagic e10 for almost 2 years now
>making obligatory responses Drivers don't give out quite easy, if you think that, maybe you've used too many JVC Earbuds, and haven't contained having Three pairs of CIEMs, Westone 4Rs', and several other pieces that have lived for 4+ years. Yet you make a estranged hipster remark in order to obtain attention. I'm done, last response you'll receive.
+The Fifa Man Hd Sound quality wise, definitely, so I'd almost always go for them over the Apple Earbuds unless you're a big fan of the comfort of the Apple ones and don't like the style of these.
+SuperUser I'm going to buy earbuds, and i'm going to buy these, or apple earpods... so soundmagic E10 u say? i tried earpods and i dont like them in my ears, and when im in bus i feel like i cant hear music with them xD
