Finally! An in depth demo video of the nERGY 400! One of my favorite sirens out there. I particularly love how the air horn tone sounds, it’s very aggressive. The local Airport Police here use this siren in their patrol vehicles with the dual tones and rumbler… it sounds so good. (Thought I commented back when this video was uploaded lol oh well)
@@allintodrumsandguns Aw thats a shame. The dual tones slap so hard haha Thanks for the reply, huge fan of your content and channel! Love your siren demos!
@@ItzKnightlife I know, I was bummed when I found out they were single tone models only. I actually helped some of our Deputies program a third siren in since they were CA 13 compliant and we’re not in CA. Helped a little, but dual tone and rumbler would have been bomb! Thanks for your support, I appreciate it very much!
@@SIRENS-YT Hmmm not bad, same AH tone as the PA-640, it seems (at least the horn tone on the 422 6S PO does). Which both sound very similar to the nERGY horn. I like it
I love the 400 series. I’m from DC and MPDC uses it. The dual tone Yelp and phaser/priority (same thing) sound so nice. That rumbler horn is just insane…
Nicely displayed. Any idea on how to turn the annoying 8 second beep off? Didn't have much luck with customer service, told me I might have a locked out system.
So, if your system is not locked out, you can press and hold auxiliary buttons 1 & 5 together until the 1 and 3 LEDs flash on the slide switch. Since the 8 sec timer is on, aux button 7 should have the red light above it. Press it and turn it off. Then press the radio rebroadcast button to exit programming mode. Beeper will now be off.
At minute 2:32 is that a tone? If so what's it's called have heard it on several police chase videos and is it even audible in a chase to other drivers going well over a hundred MPH? Just curious about the chase part that's why I asked.
In an installed application, the GUN button would release a lock on a long rifle or shotgun in a police vehicle. The amber actually controls a warning pattern on the lightbar I have hooked up to it. I’ll do a video on it soon and it will become more clear.
I have an RLS and there should be two slots on the back of the 8 slot green connector labeled “speaker” and “com”. The lead wires from your speaker will be affixed in those slots to make the speaker have sound. (Does not matter which wire goes in either slot)
Quick question can you do a demo for online usage of the dual tones with the rumbler. I’m trying to make a app and my town uses dual tones. The way the tones are set up are double wail, double Yelp and the Priority and Yelp. If it is not to much can you do this please. If you can’t do the other choice can you do the normal tones no dual tones and just do it for online usage?
It might be hard to get, but I would love to see a d&r rds17. It is one widely used here in canada, and my police department where I am at uses them with the rumbler. It sounds so cool. I found a clip from around RU-vid of what it sounds like. ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-Y6OQh0-AEUg.html
