I bought the FIIL T1X on April, last night the right side was gone and left is not connecting to the bluetooth! I contacted the seller and they've offered to send me a replacement! I wonder though if I should ask to get the T1XS and maybe pay the difference if they allow me doing that. But I wanna know in my case which one is better between the T1X vs T1XS? As always thanks for your help and expertise

I love my FIIL T1-X (bought based on your recommendation). In their price range, the app support is phenomenal, and I find myself grabbing them over more expensive alternatives. Can't wait to see what they roll out next.

Hey, I've got a real question this time. If it's already been asked, don't bother. I'm driving down the highway right now and can't read the other comments until I get home. In your earlier review of the T1Xs You stated that they sounded subdued and that the volume level was less than that of the T1X. Does your ability to tune them in the app improve them above the T1X in any way? If it came between the T1X and the T1XS which would you prefer and why?

I finally received my Soundpeats H1 today. And what I must to say. Probably they improved tuning but H1 sound so much better than Fiil. While Fiil can be harsh and unpleasant sometimes, H1 are never like that. They sound always clean and have better bass and more prominent and sparkling highs (which are a bit dirty on Fiil). Maybe it would be more correct to compare H1 with earbuds in other price range than Fiil - maybe $100-150. Probably they sounds not always better than 1MORE ANC that I can compare but H1 has a different sound signature, it is more balanced. Of cource, H1 don't have all those features like ANC but their sound quality is on par for sure. And battery life is great. I've listened them for 4 hours and my phone shows they are still have 75% battery. Also, now H1 have APP support with equalizer etc (still in development though).
Impeccable timing for this video! My T1XS just arrived literally 6 hours before u dropped this video! Hahaha! They’re simply awesome sounding! And I’ve only just been playing with them on the global app (pretending to be t1x.. hehe).. Planning to try the chinese app later.. haha.. Love having the ambient mode too.. despite the white noise.. but after I while I get used to it.. alternatively I’ll play music at a very low volume and that helps cover the white noise somewhat.

I just tried checking my app.. but it still doesn’t have the T1XS option.. guess I’ll have to wait a bit longer for the Southeast Asian update for the global app.. in the meantime I’ll get a friend familiar with chinese to help me navigate the chinese app.. haha Keep up the good work dude! Thanks so much for this on the XS! Do you know is the DSP setting in the app is also available for the T1X too? Having a real hard time trying to decide between the 2 of the FIIL’s. I do max out my earbuds and tend to like A LOT of bass (think late 90’s/early 2000’s car speaker systems, if that makes sense. I like the rumble and the in yo face bass! 😜 Do you still think the XS are a few volume ticks below the T1X? I just can’t decide which to get!
Unfortunately the DSP setting is only on the T1XS and not the T1X. The volume difference is minimal at this point. If you really need volume, you should check out the Soundcore Liberty 2 Pro.
EL JEFE REVIEWS going to check out your vids on them now. I tried the T1X and liked them over than the fact that I had some blind and interruptions which looking back may have been me not setting them up initially in the correct way or having too many other Bluetooth devices connected (Atleast that’s what I’ve read). I loved the fit and loved the sound it was just enough for me. I’m not a fan of ambient mode (I’ll just take them out when I need to hear) but LLM would be a plus. So I say all this to say that I’m leaving towards one of the FIIL’s since I already know the fit is really great.
Great review man. The only downside for me about T1XS is the inability to activate voice assistant using touch controls, otherwise great sound and the app on google play is now fully in English which makes it even better.
The T1XS are an even better bargain right now, on sale for around $35 for the white ones, making them really tough to match, given the features and app support. I'm not a fan of the control scheme, but they're otherwise a solid win. I liked the sound of the H1, but not the bright lights when it's dark and they're not playing at any given moment...really tragic design decision. Thanks for the comparison video.
Hi, which one will be better Sabbot E12 Ultra or Fiil T1xs? Can you compare them in a few words regarding to the sound quality? Because I'm wondering which pair to choose. I mainly listen to electronic music: techno, progressive house etc. I want to use the earbuds in the gym too, so stability is also important. Thank you in advance!
T1XS is the better choice as the sound is much more versatile for a wide range of music. Also, you get access to the FIIL+ app for added EQ, DSP, Gaming Mode, and more.

Hey brother, watched this a bit earlier and went back to sleep. WoW!! There sure is a ton of competition out there in the TWS Earbud market. Every day something new, something better (or worse in many cases). Still nothing yet that truly comes close to a pair of OTE headphones related to sound quality, bass quality or clarity. They are companies that are trying awfully hard but in order to get a pair of TWS Earbuds that come remotely close to the sound you get from a pair of $125 OTE Earphones you’re going to pay $250 or a lot more and that’s only to come close. Ambient sound, Gaming mode, and full EQ adjustment. And yes, Soundpeats has been doing great but they need to add a proper app to compete with the top dogs in this price range.
This is a great video. I have owned the FIIL ear buds for three months now, (my first pair) and I have love them sent day one. I haven't received the update yet on the FIIL yet. I may purchase the other pair of headphones that you are comparing them to the FIIL soon.
X12 ultra were pretty bad in my opinion. Open-design earbuds hardly ever perform well. I sent those back as soon as I tried them once. Either of the ones in this video would be better.

Thx for the review my man. SoundPeats claim on their web site bluetooth 5.2 not 5.0, plus wireless charging. Their site also claim 10H from a single charge and not 6H like you said on the vid. So is your unit different is any way? 'cause claiming 10H and delivering 5.5H is under preforming.
They changed a lot of the wording after I released my video. This is also why they took my video off of their landing page. They are definitely claiming higher performance than what I experienced. Could it be due to me receiving an early review sample? Possibly but they never offered me a second sample.
I don't really care about noise cancellation but really want the ambient sound feature. How is the ambient sound on these compared to the JLab Epic Air or Anker Life Dot 2 NC?

I decided to revisit this review after acquiring the Soundpeats H1 over the weekend. You are spot-on that the Fiil T1XS have the better sound quality. Likely bc they are geared towards top-notch quality and entertainment experience for the user along with the app. H1 are super solid and can up the ante should Soundpeats decide to design an app with EQ settings. Naturally, if Soundpeats releases a good app, their buds get revisited. It'll come one day soon, I bet! I'll check out the H1, but I thought the TruEngine 3 SE has (on occasion) just a bit more treble than I'd prefer, at least when streaming news and some other things. My Jabra 65t have especially fantastic tone, GREAT for voices, but not the dynamic range of the 3 SE, or the H1. Then I watched a DVD -- Riddick! Oh man, the sounds were huge!! So HUGE! The 3 SE were made for watching Riddick! Feel better, bro! Thank you!
Great video man, I do agree that when it comes to audio, comfort, fit & taste on any audio device it is all subjective. What works for me may not work to someone else.

Depends. If you don't need gaming mode and ambient sound then you should save the $30 and just go with the T1X. Otherwise the the T1XS is the way to go.
I'm happy to purchase my first wireless earbuds and that is FIIL T1xs. EL JEFE REVIEWS helps me to get the best bang for the buck. What is the diameter that can fit with the ear buds? I will buy different ear tips but I don't know if it could fit on the buds.

as someone who just ordered the Fiil T1XS and ADMITTING for my use-case the mic quality is not even on my list of what is important to me ... neither may sound great (esp with noise) but overall the SOundPeats H1's sound better to me

I bought the T1 X months ago but the app wouldn’t open unless I gave it full access to all my contacts and I wasn’t comfortable with that access so I returned them. If they changed this I would definitely get the XS, especially since the H1s aren’t available yet.
Hey, really good review, I bought the Fiil T1XS and I really like them, but I have a problem, there's quite a bit of white noise whenever im listening to something, I tried to mess around with the app but it didn't really change much, it's not that bad, but it's really annoying, I have a pretty bad phone with a 4.2 bluetooth, but I'll receive a new one in a few days with a 5.0 bluetooth, any ideas on where that white noise could come from ? Will changing phone fix the problem ?

@@samsonstevens7181 I haven’t decided yet. My soundpeats have worked great for over a year now and still charge up nicely with no sign of deterioration in the charging levels. And I use them every day for sometimes 4 to 5 hours.
Thanks for your review. I went with the Fill XS to replace a set of Bose Soundsport earbuds. These Fill buds have caused me to forget the flat Bose. I didn't know what I was missing with modern tech. But I have a question...have to used or reviewed using memory foam earbud tips? I'm looking for a better fit and outside noise isolation for better all around sound.

I just bought the soundpeats H1 and they have amazing sound quality but the fit is really bad...They fall off even after you were them well plus they can be painful after 1hr and sometimes less. Gonna return them and maybe get the fili t1xs or earfun pro... Any suggestions would be useful within the 60-80 dollars range
I have the Truengine 3 Se , its music is very good but have 3 problem : 1. The light on the earbud is alway on when you pause Music , it make everyone see you . 2. Micro is very very bad. 3. The charge dock is big , and the earbud is heavy. I sold it.

I bought the SP truengine 3 SE & the SP TrueFree2 sets...... I thought I'd like the more expensive TE 3 SE, but NO.... the TrueFree2 are much more comfortable & have a better BASS line.... I would've never gone with the Truengines.... wish I went with something better. They sounded great listening to Jimi Hendrix....but What doesn't?
Do you think that having a phone with fairly robust eq settings built in (I use a LG V50 for example) can make up for the lack of a app for the SoundPeats H1? Also on Kickstarter, it states that the earbuds have much better battery life (10 hrs per charge, 40 with the case)... so hearing that it is much less had me concerned. 😟
1. Absolutely! The EQ suite on the LG V50 is more than enough to tweak the sound to your liking. 2. Agreed. However, most of these companies test at 50% volume. I test at 75% volume so that can lead to less battery life.
@@zereon Thanks for the update on the timeline. I really can't wait until most earbuds can achieve at least 8 hours per charge (especially if it doesn't have quick charge), so the improvement would be much appreciated.
