This IS 350 review was a request from my mate Down Under (Australia). Mate, I don't remember your name:! I apologize! Special thanks to my worldwide fans for supporting me from around the world!
@@konradjaworski3222 no it really is the better gearing...sorry wtf was i talking about the transmission for... The 1st and second gearing on this car is monstrous.
I have an 2016 RCF CF/TVD edition and a 2019 IS350 F-Sport Package 3. The V6 does sound amazing even stock. The IS350 is an amazing daily driver/commuter guy that is incredibly fun to drive. It gives us a lot of practicality of our RX450h with about 80% of the fun to drive factor of the RCF in daily driving situations at almost 50% of the cost. 311 HP is more than enough for street driving where there is limited space both width wise and length wise and limited speed. My RCF makes about 510 - 515 HP with a few mods and most of its power and handling is useless in street driving situations so the IS350 fits in perfectly.
@@MuscleMan909 IS350 F-Sport at least the one I have (2019 was a updated in 2017 model year) has pretty smooth and comfortable ride quality even in SPORT+ with the AVS in stiff. Either the suspension is soft in NORMAL/ECO/SPORT and only stiffens up in SPORT+ and the steering tightens up in SPORT+. To be honest, even in SPORT+ it is not really stiff. It is stiffer than non-SPORT+ mode, but say compared to the RCF, it is way softer so it definitely is not bumpy or uncomfortable. I only drive it in SPORT+ not because I want a sporty drive, but because it feels way too soft and floaty with the steering being too light off-center. That is why SPORT+ makes it feel more precise. Regarding spacious, it is a compact sedan that has 4 doors and decent trunk size. It will seat 4 adults of average size. I have two little kids so it works well with wife and two kids for me as a commuter car.
@@2ZZGE100 from watching this drive I like the looks of the exterior on the car and how it drives. I also really like the 2014 Lexus GS 350 F sport. It looks great and it’s luxury. In comparison to the BMW 3 series the 335i very small inside and the ride is bumpy probably due to the size of the vehicle so I have to go Lexus plus the quality of the vehicle.
@@MuscleMan909 IS350 F-Sport drives better than the GS350 F-Sport as it is much smaller. It is the same platform. Just shortened and strengthened for the IS350 F-Sport back in 2012 when it first came out, but GS350 F-Sport has more space, comfort and practicality
I always tell myself that I'll get myself an RC 300 F Sport but every time I see or watch a review of an IS it just yanks me to get this one instead. For me, personally, this is the perfect car if I wanted a luxurious vehicle. I still got time to think about it until I take my National Boards. We'll see.
dbnoche2 I was thinking the same thing. But the IS doesn’t have Apple car play. The RC does. The mouse pad and cup holders are also better placed in the RC. The RC also comes with memory seats (which includes auto tilting mirrors when reversing). The back seats on the RC are useless though. Lol. I was going to get an IS, but I got some time in an RC and changed my mind.
Test drove one today a 2017 only because my dad might get one. Being 19 I can't afford this car, but gash if I had the money I would love to buy one of these.
JustinSTeam2 That’s cool. I’ve heard with how everything is going on right now and certain things are being cheaper, now is the time to buy a car because it’s more affordable. I hope that’s true🤷🏽♀️. Cause this Lexus is beautiful and looks comfy😩.
You can totally afford it... don’t ever limit yourself. I bought a 2016 Lexus IS 200t F sport with only 34k miles for $23,000 in Ultra White with red interior from Carmax ...just start saving and make sure your credit is good and you can have one
My uncle leased one of these for a few years, he liked it a lot, but now he’s leasing an Alfa Romeo Giulia. I got a loaner IS200t 2016 From DCH Lexus of Santa Barbara. I liked everything about it, but the 4 cylinder is too weak for me. I’d love the IS350 F Sport for sure.
At my dealership we don't even get the 200t! IS 300 and 350 only 😊 . I saw a giulia from the rear this week, taillights looked cheap...could have been the lighting.
i just picked up a 2018 f sport is 350 a month ago, and mine has memory seating, and it is the f sport series 2 not the three. i don't have the mark l stereo system and the rear sun shade
i just realized, being as i am in canada our is 350 is speced out alot better i guess, we have two options they call it the f sport 2 and f sport 3. f sport 2 gives you every single option except the two i mentioned above.
@@quinnriddolls6716 that's awesome! Thanks for sharing. I know our is 350 f sport come with Mark Levinson but the 300 f sport doesn't. Thanks for sharing!
@@marzhayez3428 i drove Acura up till now, but im in love this car its amazing and drives like a god. could not be more perfect, the looks and the only thing you dont get from this car is the solid body sounds and door closes you get with the German rivals. BMW Benz Audi
Yes - I've discovered this recently...however I still haven't seen it in person. I know in other regions around the world it's far more common than it is here in the midwest (central region)
@@jord_ibe can confirm. Just dumped a 2013 benz C class because it started to really show it's age after 100k miles. Both rear brake lines blew within about a week of each other which is just absurd on a car that age. Picked up a CPO '17 IS300 F Sport last month and it's a night and day difference between the two cars. I'm glad I got the whole "mercedes" bug out of my system but I'll never buy another one. I would however lease another Benz down the road when I'm no longer driving 20k miles a year on average.
Great job...BUT!!! I need all of you reviewers to stop calling the navigation in the instrument cluster a mere compass. Once you put in your directions on the in-dash navigation, it shows up on that screen. Just scroll down and you are good to go. It’s nice. No need to take your eyes off the road.
In South Africa we only get rwd Lol I was going to ask you to reviewer the is350fpsort Isn't it an 8 speed Review the 2010 rx350/450h We lucky to still get massive NA v6 in a world of turbos Enthusiast should appreciate Lexus for this Can defintly get decent consumption if you babay it which is good Let's hope Lexus brings black the ISF
@@KirkKreifels are you saying the next generation of his there is going to be an F The positive if Lexus not making the current gen with an F Is people appreciated the original much more now
Nope. I work for Lexus, but if you see my reviews, I'm very critical of their vehicles..mainly because I want them to keep getting better. Thanks for watching!
You gotta drive one to feel it. I have 06 is350 with 140k miles. Engine still feels smooth. And I have done best 4.9 seconds on mines blown away many mustang gts
ndenkha actually I’m sad that it’s the getting that particular engine. The twin turbo engine won’t be nearly as bulletproof as a NA engine. If I were Lexus I would have thrown this current sports 3.5L V6 to the future Camry and stuff. I would have designed a torque-y v6 with high horsepower without the forced induction. Go the V8 route for the IS-F.
