It's not manual windows, their called MAN-U-WELL done be cheap windows. LOL. Just something that guy up north in B.C. (Canada) who speaks Canuckistanian Creole {AVE} would say.
I use to work for a snow plows dealer in New Jersey and the plow lights had to be interlocked with the truck low beam circuit when used for highway use as per the NJ DOT. Watching this brings back all the complaints from users. These trucks, mostly from landscapers live a hard life. The wiring issues were number one on every repair list. Include the fact that hanging all that weight out past the front bumper destroying the front suspension is an added plus.😊

Literally laughed out loud when you pulled the headlight switch out. Shotty wiring makes me twitch. One of my first projects on any of my vehicles is to clean the wiring up.
Happy New Year. If you recall I am the retired Air Force wiring team lead that commented on the screw driven into the tractor wire harness under the door kick panel. I watch all of your stuff because you not only care about doing it right but you also seem to care about how it looks. If interested I would like to offer a trick we use on aircraft. On military and commercial air craft sometimes the cavity where the harness lives will not except having the splicing all in one location. What we would do is measure the length of the splice plus the number of wires to get a overall length to start the splicing so no one splice is laying over the top of another one. That way the overall diameter of the repair is no larger than the splice itself. Please keep in mind this only works if you have enough length, space and enough wire. This guy just wants it to work not unlike a military crew that only ask if the weapons fire. Play with the harness provided and see if you can use the process. Good stuff. Honestly I think for a temporary fix the wire nuts would have been just fine, so long as the two sides were zip-tied such that there was no stress on the splices, then cover with tape or a plastic bag. I used to design wiring harnesses for heavy duty trucks and construction equipment, so I understand the amount of work involved in doing wiring the correct way. It's amazing how many hours/days one can spend on doing wiring properly. 99% of people don't even understand how complicated and time-consuming it can be. Good job Wes! You are truly a blessing to your entire community.

Feel your pain. Had a friend with an old Western V- plow. 1st snow event was always panicsville. I temporarily get everything going with the understanding he religiously promised to get “The Plug” and make repairs permanent. One year later as the plow pukes in the middle of a snow event. Ring, Ring.
Ah yes, the legendary Bluetooth headlight mod. That'll get ya every time... My guess would be it was blowing fuses with some combination of lights/plow movement & the operator helpfully disconnected the switch to keep the plow working long enough to finish up whatever job it was on & then the other shop started to "diagnose", saw the crusty wire and gave it the chop but when the truck's lights still failed to work on installing new fuses they didn't get logical but instead got scared. Either that or they felt their time would be better spent on beer and mince pies lol. Happy New Year to you and yours Wes. Anyone who has plowed snow for any length of time knows you HAVE to have a truck with loud exhaust to let your customers know you are so dedicated to them that you are on the job at 3am. I still have my old 8' Western that has actual cables controlling the mechanical valves. Works like a charm every time.

Happy new year Wes, I run the same plow on my 95 GMC Yukon affectionately named the RHINO, it's a snow moving beast. Poor old girl definitely could use some love cuz Michigan winters or as I call them season of salt take a toll, she's a rust bucket but just keeps pushing snow. I am amazed every year after she sits all spring, summer and fall pump it twice and she's running. I did change oil this year and installed new power steering pump after plowing all last winter with basically no power steering, good for upper body strength. Love the channel and the enlightening narration, you do an excellent job explaining what is going on and I appreciate that, thanks. Here's to a better 2022 hopefully, live long and prosper.

I used to install Fisher Plows, they came with complete directions, I always checked off each step as i went. Greased and used Locktite on all the major bolts. I could do one in less than a day. And I always put the Fisher directions in the truck before it left. Having the directions might help you out!
Good job! Obviously that’s a good repair on that truck lol. You can also get some universal weather pack connectors on Amazon. I keep some in stock with like 20 pins slots. I’ve used them many times on the low amp side and then I use winch battery cable quick connects for the motor side. Works good when new connectors aren’t available.
You ‘tha Man Wess. Fixing junk trucks, snowplows, golf-carts, sedans, army trucks, tractors, etc. Would not surprise me to open up a video from you and find you working on excessive “jigawatt” draw from Marty McFly and Doc Brown’s Delorean way-back machine flux capacitors.

I owned a dodge ram with the most basic package it didn't even com with AC it was one of the most reliable vehicles I ever owned aside from my f150 with the 300 they never failed to put food on the table for that I will forever be indebted

Big snow today in Wisconsin also. Surprisingly it was not to crazy at the grocery store yesterday, today may be a different story. Worked facility maintenance at WCTC for a while, they had better equipment than that truck, snow plowing was fun for the first 20 min or so, after that not so much.
