STEP BY STEP INSTRUCTIONS AND DETAILS PROVIDED IN THE VIDEO.

INGREDIENTS I USED:
Baked at 325 degrees for 1 hour in the 12 C Nordic Ware Anniversary Bundt Cake Pan. (Time may vary depending on your cake pan and/or oven.)
3 Cups Swans Down Cake Flour
3 Cups Sugar
3 Sticks UNsalted Butter (Room Temperature)
5 Large Eggs (Room Temperature) (Recipe called for 6 eggs)
1 C Sour Cream (Room Temperature)
1/2 Tsp Baking Powder
1/4 Tsp Salt
1 Tbsp. Vanilla Extract
1 Tsp. Lemon Extract
1 Tsp. Creme Bouquet
*** GLAZE
Powdered Sugar
Cold Stone Coffee Creamer
Vanilla Extract

Heeeyyyyy Ms Donna!!!👋🏽 I was so excited to see you mixing cake batter with this new mixer! And I love that fancy new bundt cake pan!❤ I just wish that the fancy ones were bigger, at least 15 cups. Dude #1 makes me laugh. He wants his own piece of cake. He wants you to get your own slice and leave his alone. 😂😂😂 And I imagine the taste of that cake reminds me of back in the day "Refreshments will be served in the Fellowship Hall immediately after service." Hey, Y’all! Dude #1 is hilarious! Looking like a little kid eating that cake! Beautiful cake as always! When cutting it, you can cut like you would normally cut you cakes. Each slice will have part of the design of the pan or, you could do like Dude #1 said and go with the grooves. If you do that, you’re just going to have folk fighting over the big piece or the little piece! 😂 Congratulations on the new mixer, too! Hi Donna, Oh my goodness. I am so excited about u doing this cake. It's the only one my mom made for over 30 yrs. She is now 85 with altizmers. I could not for the life of me remember which extracts. I recently found some old bottles. I know she used 3 flavors n a pound of butter. Yea extremely rich. You have inspired me to try her cake again after many many years. Yummy recipe as per usual Donna! Have to try to make it! Anyway in answer to your question as to how to cut it with that Bundt cake design just slice as usual. You don’t need to follow the design. Just slice the normal size. The design will add a different look to each slice!

I love the sour cream pound cake. It is my favorite of all cakes because it reminds me of those church homecoming they use to have years ago some people call them basket rally. We couldn’t wait to get those cake that those Mothers use to make. That cake brought back a lot of memories

I actually use the wisk instead of the paddle. I feel like it makes my batter fluffier I love shute at the top. Makes adding ingredients much easier. KitchenAid needs to jump on this concept

I made this cake recently to sell at a bake sale. Great recipe and it received rave reviews from the customers. Didn’t do glaze, (cake is so good with or without).l added Cake Batter extract(McCormick) in addition to other extracts listed. No Creme Bouquet. Will be purchasing soon. Glad to see you tried one of the Nordic fancy pans. I've been collecting( new ones) every year. These pans are for either glaze icing or no icing. To difficult to ice with regular icing. You're correct, they take less batter. The gold pans are suppose to be non stick, but I always spray. Also, I use a kitchen aid and the glass bowls are very heavy. I was trying to fine the one you had. The splash guard and light is a great feature. If I tell my hubby I NEED another mixer, he'll say for what! LOL You go girl pound cake QUEEN!👸🏾👍🏼🤗

I have about 1/2 pound cake left ..I used vanilla extract , butter extract , and almond extract for the cake batter and vanilla extract for the glaze ...You are amazing , thank you so much ....love the way you explain every step ...blessings🙏

Soo I made this cake per your directions and when I say my boyfriend whose roots out from Memphis and Mississippi said it raise like good great auntie baked this cake!! I am hooked. I have made this cake so much that it is in my memory. Changed the flavoring a little so I just added 1/4teaspoon of almond extract so so good 👍🏿 Thanks for all you do!!! Happy Thanksgiving 2022!!!!

Lady Donna, you hit a home run tonight with this Sour Cream Pound Cake. It looks so delicious and elegant in your new cake pan. I would just cut slices in an angle, on each groove. Yes, yes, I been waiting on a good sour cream pound cake recipe. Thank you so much for sharing and Pastor Robert said it all, you know it was good, when he did not want to let go of it, lol. Your sour cream cake looked yummy, I'll give it a try tomorrow and top each serving with some fruit and a dollop of whipped cream. I recommend cutting it (using your new pan) just the way you cut the other pound cakes you've made. That way everyone will get the size piece they want. Sorry husband!
