Tried my hand at fermenting pickles for the first time.
Used my old fermenting crock in which I make sauerkraut every year.
It turned out great and will be making it again!
Best temperature for fermenting is 18-22 degrees Celsius. Avoid temperatures above 26 Celsius.

By chance found a water seal crock at the thrift store today so I'm watching many videos on how to use it. This was very easy to follow and makes me want to try... Thank you!

I just got my fermentation crock today! I'm excited to see a recipe other than just sauerkraut! I'll definitely be trying this!

@@ilankir9805 oh gosh it was just a small half gallon one from amazon! I wanna say it was about $30??? Not sure on the brand though! It was a longggg time ago!

Was the cloudy liquid in the jars from the croc, or did you add it later?

Thanks ☺ You can just use hot soapy water to clean them. Then make sure to wash the soap off thoroughly and dry them well before storing.
