I grew up four blocks from there in the early 80s . What a great town calumet city once was . No crime good schools nice homes Nice parks to go to and etc . Now days calumet city is just another getto . From time to time I'll drive through calumet city and I can't believe it's the same town I grew in . What a shit hole a great town has become .

The suspect was wanted for multiple murders and shootings in and around Chicago. And how did the dead victims and their grieving families vote during the mayoral, gubernatorial, and presidential elections? Whom did they elect as their representatives in congress and senate? And whom did they elect as their DA? And how's that voting record working for them now? Are they better off now? Or are they worse off now?
Protocol requires Marshalls or Feds to have all personnel in place to serve warrant & city cops are used only as backup & traffic control. Wouldn't be surprised officer was hit by friendly fire. Whoever was in charge should be held responsible & demoted.
