I am from Sindupalchowk, Nepal. It is also one of the most affected districts of Nepal due to earthquake in 2015. We lost our homes and we had to live in the tent for more than Six months until we secured a temporary housing. This video really got my eyes filled and took me back to those devastating moments of sorrow and scarcity. I searched for the video for wintergreen essential oil and came across the video but did not expect this video to be so touchy.😪 My dad started this business of wintergreen as a distiller in my village about two years back. He himself goes into the forest and gathers the plant and also encourages the villagers to do so. The villagers are so happy that they have atleast something, out of which they can earn their living. It has uplifted the economy of the whole villagers in general. And I always used to think that there are so many ways to improve this adorable business and I will help my dad in future by giving it a better insight. I am Currently in the UK and I am researching on this plant, the wintergreen , its health benefits, risks, and the markets globally. This video was really powerful, as it is relatable for me from both sides. Thank you DOTERRA for this amazing video, knowledge and the great help.

The more I learn about doTerra the more impressed I am with the oils

how much do you pay these workers for this crazy job? Is there any regulation in place to make sure they aren't seriously injured or do you just tell them that you will pay when they bring you baskets full of wintergreen? Curious because I think it crazy to exploit people who have just been devastated by earthquakes to work for you any less than $7/hour.
