Farmhouse On Boone has a sourdough Cinnamon roll recipe that requires coconut oil and honey. But she still uses butter and brown sugar for the Cinnamon mixture. Can't wait to try both recipes 😋
I just went to double check. It’s the Clever Carrot recipe that I use. I’m not sure if there’s an issue with fermenting the egg overnight. I’ll have to look into that!
I make Lisa’s from Farmhouse on Boone cinnamon rolls frequently. She has written that she does the eggs both ways. I always add mine before it sits all night. Either way doesn’t affect the end result. My icing is powdered sugar, heavy whipping cream and almond extract😋
