This is exciting. I don't feel so intimidated after watching you. KneadAce products are definitely a must for me. Thanks for showing us how to start our sourdough and continuing with the sourdough series.
Another thing to know, is after your starter gets going good, you can dehydrate some of your own; just in case you have an accident (like I did by breaking the container it was in) I've used my own dehydrated starter twice now and it works great. 😊
Yikes!! I don’t have my stuff yet! I had trouble making the purchase so my husband tried on his computer (I have an IPad), and it went through. Strange.
The first few discards aren't really fully ready yet. I always hated getting rid of them, too, but they aren't fully mature yet. I understand that it should be about 5 days before you use it.
Nothing, NO-Thing about Sourdough, turns my crank! 😂 In truth? What I see everyone making, would shred my mouth to ribbons! Having zero teeth, it is impossible TO est that firm crust! I do buy store version, of a Sourdough Multigrain bread. But theirs does not have that crust I see, in the homemade.
I know what you mean about the crust on a lot of sourdough breads. But never fear, I'm not going to make only those breads. I have recipes for things like waffles, pancakes, pizza crust, and even brownies!
