I am a resident in South Africa and I am disgusted and ashamed of what is happening here. This is just a poor excuse to steal.

Am sorry but....I am a South African citizen. But I am bitterly disappointed in the way the president delivered his speech. I mean if you are going to condemn something, then condemn it with the upmost severity and let us hear and see it in the way you speak that you condemn these actions. My God! As a South African, I can confirm that this has been going on here for almost a week but the situation here is worst than what the international and local media outlets are portraying. * Theres stores that we have been shopping at since we were kids that have been closed down permanently.🙈 * The police are overwhelmed 🙈 … and in certain areas there are bodies just laying in the streets. 🙈

it only takes a few bad people to set off a chain reaction. at some point you, as a law abiding citizen have you go out and try to get what you need even in the chaos. i pray for all people on this earth to be happy and safe and well taken care of. sad the global elite are willing to kill millions of people just to keep thier control.

To all my educated brothers and sisters in South Africa. The international community feels your heartache and pain during this trying time. Similar to certain other African countries, we could see the direction South Africa was heading in and expected the degradation to take years - from what the world has just witnessed in less than a week - it's not going to take that long. It was a difficult decision to leave such a beautiful country when we did but we were regarded as second class citizens in a country our forefathers helped to build. I urge you, if at all possible, use your skills to get you and your families out of Africa as soon as you can - don't let yourself or your family members become victims of murder, rape or robbery. There are countries that could use your skills. I know it's easier said than done, but if COVID restrictions ease and you can - GET OUT WHILE YOU CAN - it's not easy, but you can build a new, safer life for your family in another country.

I am from South Africa, there are currently lootings and complete unrest in our country and we are scared. People are not sleeping, our community members our out patrolling and trying to keep their families safe. The army is not yet in many areas and the government is lagging. We are weeks away from complete nothingness. Everything will be burnt and looted. People will sit unemployed and starving. The world needs to be aware of the plight of helpless citizens, taxpaying citizens who are on the brink of losing everything. Please spread the word to the world. Innocent people are getting killed and kicked out of their homes. Businesses are being burned through the ground and after all this looting there is no food supplies available. Please help spread the word about KwaZulu Natal and Gauteng to the rest of the world.
