Thats because they are relate-able and have integrated seamlessly and are very respectful of the locals.They don't have this "we are coming from the first world country or upper-hand" kinda attitude.Plus they are genuinely curious in learning the mannerism, culture, traditions of the ordinary south Africans that they interact with......above all you can just easily up pick up from their glowing smiles and laughter that they are really having a good time in South Africa.......from : A South African.

South Africa has many car assembly plants, here are some: BMW (X3), Mercedes (C Class), Toyota (Hilux, Fortuner, Corolla, Quantum), Volkswagen (Polo, Polo GTI), Isuzu (D-Max Series), Nissan (NP200, NP300 Hardbody, Navara), Mahindra (Pik Up), Ford (Ranger, Everest).

South Africans love cooler box. To those doesn't know cooler box is a small bag or box with fridge dat carry drinks, water and alcohol to keep it cold.and when they carry those cooler box you must know there's great chilling somewhere. And what I like about cooler box is dat you do not keep on spending your money on buying drinks.U have it everything in your cooler box.

@@TRSA WHAT?? No way it's a must. I suggest you do 2 seperate return trips. Midrand-Sandton or to Rosebank as it goes underground and you get off right next to the malls and the other trip Midrand- Pretoria CBD and take the bus around town, Pretoria CB is much safer than Joburg inner city. You can get off at the SARB and take a walk around Sammy Mark's square or you could go all the way to Hatfield station and maneuver around next to the University and also pass by Menlyn and all this on the bus. It's very reliable. If you were interested I wouldn't mind actually being your "Gautrain tour guide on these trips, at no charge lol😆

Talk about value for money, especially for those with foreign currency reserves. I am however mindful that locals don't end up getting priced out because of property speculation by absent landlords. Lest SA be turned into another London, Sydney or Toronto, where locals can't afford homes in their own country.

Unlike London, South Africa has a lot of physical space and our building industry is robust. So international investments into our real estate sector will be a net positive as Locals will get an opportunity to generate a revenue from real estate sales and rentals and will drive more developments to pop up.

There's also something similar called Wi Jump at the Mall @ Carnival in the East Rand. They offer a little more than trampolines though -- they also have slides, obstacle courses, games as well as refreshments. You can even arrange to host a kids' party on-site.

If you sold it you'd most likely be able to get a newer model that is certified pre-owned without it costing you much because of the exchange rate. The issue is that we have a right hand steering

Shipping will cost you an arm and a leg, plus the car will not be certified because it's a left-hand drive. Just sell it and get another one here.

Unfortunately this is not advisable. The cost is going to be hectic and I hear that you have 1 year to change your steering wheel around to the right hand side (not certain about this but it's what I heard). This is a way to protect the local market otherwise people could buy pre-owned cars for cheaper in other countries with stricter laws such as Japan, Germany and UK and import it to SA and destroy our pre-owned car market.

Yes there are! You can do ice skating at The Grove Mall Pretoria East, Forest Hill Centurion, Northgate Johannesburg. All these are in the Johannesburg area. And bowling is almost at every mall. I do it at Menlyn Mall... All these places are in the Johannesburg area. There's others in other cities but I'm guessing you're interested in Johannesburg

In a country like South Africa, as compared to the USA, Saudi Arabia where fuel would be cheaper I prefer diesel cars. With A 520d F10 if yours is one you get to cover lots of kilos say to KZN or MP with so much less fuel.

@@tshepomogotsi Another thing to note is that in SA, it is much cheaper to get a domestic worker (what you call a maid) than it would be in the US. Someone coming in once a week to do your laundry and cleaning would cost you on average $108 pm. So, with your HOA services and domestic work taken care of, you can get on with life.
