That person who stated the comment: Trudy’s passport is dirty and it says a lot about her, is really describing themselves and is just jealous of Trudy’s amazing lifestyle. Trudy is beautiful, intelligent and talented and that negative person can’t handle it!
That Wode Maya guy must stay away from countries's politics, he turned himself to be a spokesperson of every country he visiting. South African problems will be solve by South Africans not outsiders.
@Funky Hyena True they like acting as if they come from perfect countries while they are ruled by dictators, they get surprised when they see a country with human rights.
@ kennyx donkx I see! The King has confidently given her a free reign and she is do a fantastic job holding down all the transitioning footage. What a team. I'm just marveled at their unison and flow. Our Gal is damn good! Damn Miss Trudy, I'm just in awe!
Miss Trudy, by now you know that some people will pick at minor things (passport) to get on your nerves especially if they don't have anything positive to say, so just ignore. Swaziland was often confused with Switzerland, so Eswantini would solve that problem. Keep doing your positive work for us all, we appreciate what you are doing.
Africa is so beautiful!!! I am home sick! Swaziland is beautiful. I visited the country in December 1989. The experience was memorable. We got a rental car and drove through beautiful valleys. We drove between Manzini and Mbabane. The names of places were romantic. This is all very nostalgic for me.
No, it is not named after the king (at least not the current one). The current king was born Makhosetive, but was given the name "Mswati the 3rd" after he became king, named after one of our founding fathers. "Eswatini" is basically one of the names for Swaziland in our local language, possibly taken from the first Mswati. You can also say kaNgwane in our local language, which again, is a name inspired by another founding father, Ngwane.
Mswati is not a name to the king it is tittle that the chose ,he could have chosen any from Ngwane ,Sobhuza and many more he picked Mswati the third meaning he is the third king to have used the title Mswati
Interesting facts: (1) the Automotive Supplier Park based in Pretoria is the biggest in the continet. It is different to other assembly plants (what mechanics do) as it consolidates the entire automotive value chain in one complex including R&D plant (what engineers do) (2) the 1st electric car on the continent to ever be FULLY designed, manufactured and assembled was in Pretoria, SA around year 2010; however it never went into mass production due to profitability concerns (3) this was not the 1st car to FULLY built in SA. The 1st one was built right after World War 2. (4) SA also built aircrafts for non commercial purposes. (5) The Swati ppl are actually made up of tribes from SA (they are SAcns), and their land actually covered more than just Swaziland.
Awwwwww 7:25 that man smiled, Aki some people have good hearts ...some people will roll their eyes instead, or just look at you like you are showing off or something.
Just to add re road tolls. All national roads in SA have permanent tolls, this ensures national roads are maintained to the highest standard. You can drive from beit bridge at zim border to Cape town on road called N1 which is a trip of 1700 kilometers without a single pot hole. The price of toll???It must have been R98 not R980
@Laurenceharrisn231 This young Lady is something she is holding it down and it is something to behold. She just calm and poise with no hang ups, just doing her thing with such ease. I'm blown

Love your videos hun. Ignore the cooks, (crazies). You are killing it all over the place and the crazies are just trying to knock you off your game. Love what you’re doing. 💃🏽💃🏽💃🏽🥳🥳🥳🥰❤️❤️❤️✝️✝️✝️🙏🏼🙏🏼🙏🏼 The sun glasses are fly.
You guys are welcome to the Kingdom. Please remember that the language is almost the same as Zulu ( the one you learnt in Johannesburg) .Sawubona ( to one person) and Sanibonani ( plural).Enjoy!!!
Whoever made that comment about the passport is a knobhead, clearly doesn't travel much. Even here in Europe people proudly show their worn-out passports with pride as it suggests you are well travelled and adventurous. Trolls just trying to dampen your day. Enjoy miss T, you are the bomb!
Swaziland Gets A Name Change to eSwatini: The King Mswati III said the name change is intended to shed vestiges of the country's colonial past. In the Swazi language, eSwatini means "place of the Swazi."
I so enjoyed this road trip vlog w/ you guys, Trudy!!! Road trips are the best! Actually, traveling in general always makes for a good time! Thanks for bringing us along w/ you!
@@joyceglam4612 Oh...no, Lesotho is a country. It's within South Africa just like Eswatini. It has beautiful mountains, you should check it out online.
Excellent first person road trip video .... that's how its done ....GRADE A. .... P.S. Tell your man Wode Maya that's a 1st class, sharp and tight haircut ....GRADE A.
You should go back for the Bushfire Music Festival. The tickets are currently being sold and it is an event that attracts people from all over the world.
Wow Trudy that was great! Kingdom of Eswatini! I almost relocated to South Africa and then to Lesotho. Love that part of Africa. If you have time please travel to Lesotho and see the beautiful mountains and the source of water from the highlands. The Basotho are super friendly. Learn a few local greetings wherever you go. It helps break the ice.
I'm a Swati you are my former neighboring Country before British gave our Gauteng and Mpumalanga to the apartheid regime... always love Lesuthu our women even adopted your hat called Sicholo .. But don't worry soon we will get our land back taken by the apartheid regime....they will have to take all their buildings in Pretoria and Joburg and move away.....Thanks much love
@@nostramashego4226 coz it was taken by apartheid from the British, and we have that agreement between the two.....so UN will have to make a decision by 2025! I'm not saying we will win the case anything is possible! We don't want your buildings and stuff we want our land finish and clar
Eswatini sounds way too better than Swaziland. Another thing Eswatini and or KaNgwane are native names of our country, we've been using them ever since so to us as eMaswati/Swazis is not a new name it's just that now it's been made formal. Swaziland was a name given by our colonizers so we are now independent so we have to do things our way. Anyways there are a lot of African countries which changed their name e.g. Namibia, Zimbabwe to name just but a few
The other reason that they renamed the country was because people all over the world used to confuse Switzerland and Swaziland. Apparently, the Eswatini president used to be called a liar whenever he says that he is the king of "Switzerland"- I mean Swaziland. There is also a rumour that the US airforce once went to Swaziland mistakenly trying to go to Switzerland.
@@MissTrudyy Hi Miss Trudy, love what you doing with Ghana. I live in ATL, but I worked at BMW in pretoria next time you come to pretoria I wanna see yall please, my number is +16787545299, best wishes to yall and stay safe keep up the good work.
@@St-ds1dc We have a very small population and overseas travel for us is pretty expensive. To get a Visa to the States is a mission on it's own . The few liswati that do travel to the United States will most likely go to the more popular tourist destinations that side I.e Miami, Vegas etc.
I'm so sorry what happened to your friend I don't know why they treated him that way I think they just need to be kind to one another and stop judging each other I'm glad to see you guys are traveling and having a good time with each other please continue to show us I am excited to see what's next sorry if I had said something negative but I was not trying to be negative about South Africa I'm just a little bit upset with them cuz what they have been doing but life goes on thank you for your time looking forward to seeing more much love 😎🇳🇬🇺🇸🌹
Passports are to identify people on travel in that particular vehicle in case of an acident or something along the way - they keep the record at the bus station. This applies to all cross border road trips.
