South Africa elected to bat first after winning the toss at Jo'burg.
Gary Kirsten fell quickly to Aussie quickie after that Hansie Cronje played an outstanding knock of 112 runs smashing Warne all around the park.
Australians were always in the game while chasing but Fanie bowled outstanding yorkers in the end to restrict Aussies and South Africa got a thrilling victory.

Hansie cronje was a legend . 80% big players fix in matches but due to his bad luck he caught . Anyways he was a great captain & a legend. In his capatacy southafrica reached no2 position after australia. In that time beating australia is a dream for any team . Under his capantancy sa profuced legendary lance klusener ,kallis ,gibbs ,pollock,nicky boje ,makhaya ntini, neil mechenzie,paul adams. Sa was the Only team in that era who fought with australia neck to neck . Like cronje nobody humiliate shane warne & murlitharan with long sweep huge sixes .

Every ground of this world now shrink to 65,70mt due to icc's new fycking rule . Mcg ,scg, eden garden ,lords,johanneaburg's wanderers were huge stadiums in that time . Till 2011 mcg was 90mt . Before 90s mcs was 100mt ground . Legends like sir viv richards,sir clive lyod,kapil dev, gavasker , imran khan ,denis lilee were playing in that 100mt ground where there is no ropes . Actually i have some doubts bcz lots of cricket pundits argue that mcg's real length was 110 mt . That means before 90s all legends played at mcg's 110mt ground . Thats huge . Even 110 mt ground sir viv richards sixes were out of ground such a legend 🙏 . Eden garden was 90mt, the wanderers stadiun of johannesburg's was huge abpve 90 mt where hansie cronje humiliate shane warne by hit six after six out of park in that huge ground. Scg was like 90mt . Every ground in 90s were either 90mt or above or between 85mt to 90mt. That was permtr of bcci that time. And in golden time before 90sthere were no perimtres grounds were above 100mts like mcg.
