Xiumin is pronounced more like “SHOO-min” (the x in Chinese names is pronounced like the sh sound) and is actually a stage name, he’s Korean but was in the Chinese sub-unit. He’s the one with the red hair in the live performance. Chen was indeed the one with the gold blazer, he’s also Korean and was also in the Chinese subunit. Lay is one remaining the Chinese member. He’s still a member but is no longer in SM Entertainment due to the political tensions between the two countries. Lay is a very big star in China, he’s one of their most famous. I highly recommend his solo stuff, start with LIT. I also agree with the other commenters saying to check out Obsession, and Kai’s solos Mmmh and Peaches. Also, one of my favourites is Overdose, it’s the last song with all 12 members before Kris and Luhan left. Side note - Xiumin just recently release his debut solo, it’s called Brand New. I love it ❤
