We visit Port Shepstone and the famous Banana Express for a ride to Paddock and return, with modified Garratt NGG16 141 "The Red Dragon". Lineside shots on the Down journey, and on-train shots on the return. Sadly this railway is now closed.

Reminds me of the Garratt the Vale of Rheidol now has. 🏴󠁧󠁢󠁷󠁬󠁳󠁿 Love that whistle!

Yes they look pretty similar, although the VoR Garratt is an earlier class (NGG13) and this one is a modified NGG16.
