You're completely wrong. They're not exploring love with each other. The video is about them as young women learning about love through media and movies. Each sequences references a particular movie and they play the roles of the main characters. The members play both the female and male roles in the video because Twice doesn't shoot with any make actors/dancers. It something they usually do and only recently in The Feels and Doughnut made an exception to include male actors/dancers.
