Those rocks are treacherous! Kudos to your ability to balance crossing the stream at the end. TR.

Definitely Teddy. The dude was a legend! Another good back in time dinner - Alexander Hamilton or Aaron Burr 🤔 Messy messy trail. But you are doin it!! 🥾

Lol!!! I'm so glad it only took 1800 miles for you to learn load management. It's wonderful to see you in better spirits, on better legs. I'll take FDR.

Good going. I think I’d have fallen off that log. Don’t know enough about them to answer WYR.😊❤

Nice that you're in a better headspace. I can only imagine how grueling it is day after day especially in tough conditions. Teddy Roosevelt is one of the better presidents we've had IMHO - he spearheaded the National Park system - so I'd go with him as well.

Yea for a positive headspace and strong legs despite the rain! 🎉. I love Teddy, but FDR had so many challenges. I pick FDR.

Teddy, a.k.a. as a Nature Lover albeit he loved shooting big game. FDR would've been interesting too so tough choice.

it's a shame it was cloudy/raining for this day's hike. the views at Height of Land are amazing.

Glad to hear you got your mojo back. Only heard from Nickels once since he's been in Maine. Talked to my daughter, his mom, last night, and she talked to him and he was struggling like you did awhile back. I'll go with Teddy, but I bet they both could tell a story or two.

He’s now about 10 miles behind me. Could be today, probably tomorrow, that he passes me!

That lichen is called reindeer moss by Americans and caribou moss by Canadians. Same critter so it doesn't really matter which.

Nasty sloppy trail -- expected Sasquatch to jump out any moment. Don't sit on the bench -- it's a trap! 😂
