My buddy Bruce invited me up to the neck of the woods he hunts. Had a couple stands to choose from so I picked the bean field. Shot my biggest buck to date. Thanks, Bruce it was an awesome hunt!
After it was caped out found out the shot went right through the ribs and the bullet was recovered because it was stuck between the ribs it exited from and the hide. So no gut shot.
Rifle- Savage 10p .308
Scope- Nikon Monarch 3 4-16x50mm
Ammo- Hornady SST Superformance 150gr

Hey Jerladd Where is this ? I have 50 acres in Scranton SC just outside Lake City. We have 4 nice stands. Cross bows only this year. Usually my Armalite AR10 in 308. Or my Henry lever action 308. Love the Hornady SST Superformance nice vid brother...

Really nice buck. But I have to ask....Is that I-95 in the background? The Lovely Bride and I live in Marlboro County and the traffic looks kind of familiar if you know what I mean. By the way as a much, much older South Carolina Boy....I'm subscribing to your channel!

Yes sir, that was I-95. Luckily it was half a mile from the stand and I was shooting from an elevated position. Thanks for subscribing!
