South Carolina is a Vibe! - Kiawah Island Visit x Ocean Course Golf To be honest, I hadn't even heard of Kiawah before, so when the PR team for Freshfields Village reached out, I had to do my research. But after checking it out online, I started asking about it. Seemed like almost everyone knew it except for me. Even my Canadian friends who were golf enthusiasts were well versed. So it made accepting the offer easy and I was on my way. And happily so!
What a place Kiawah is. Stunning by nature and packed with tons of activities, nature (watch out for Gators) and a really cool town called Freshfields Village. Super cool to see what they've developed there.
From amazing restaurants to great shopping and beautiful hotels, it's truly a no brainer to check out.
And if you're in to golf, well you probably already know the Ryder Cup was hosted here and the Ocean Course Golf Course is stunning.
Put it on your list if it isn't already.

Brendan, loved that you got to experience South Carolina. Kiawah is a special place but very slow pace more beach and golf. Kiawah River is a solid place to stay if you were to go back but I hate you didn’t get to visit Charleston. It is the most special city in South Carolina with deep history, beautiful houses, awesome food, and nice beaches. I feel it fits you perfectly. As a South Carolinian I would recommend hitting Charleston on your next trip back it is a definite for the whole family.

There will always be people that work to bring you down, but it won't change the your day if you don't let it, and if you think about it they care more than most; enough to commit, comment, discuss and breathe your name allowing others to find you, make their own decisions and at the same time make decisions/form opinions about you and even the person who brought them the info. Thank you for promoting our beautiful Sea Islands. Kiawah Island is stunning, as is the sister island of Seabrook Island! Seabrook Island is right next to Kiawah and very residential. However, there are several Airbnb/VRBO's available, and it also has stunning beaches and golfing as well as an equestrian center (you can ride horses on the beach and trails). We live in the Low Country and love to visit these Sea Islands and bike Kiawah and Seabrook Islands, as well as have evening bonfire's on the beach. Hope you bring your beautiful family out for another visit. Always enjoy your house renovation posts!!
