@@prince.davvvid the same sc team that fumbled 4 times that night yes there lucky they didn’t lose any of those fumbles or the game would’ve been 6-6 the team is still trash the only thing they got going for them is a good defense without that sc would be 1-3
I would love for SC to beat Ole Miss this Saturday, but I just dont see it. Ole Miss is gonna be more focused and will adapt their offense. I really hope Im wrong, but I dont think SC's offense will keep up. But a really good game plan and I do think SC can win. AND if the Refs let them play instead of calling back touchdowns.
I think that the way the o-line is built for right now that Ashford is a much better short-term answer. As the o-line gels over the year, your statement may become more accurate.
Lol keep quiet. We will force 2 qb turnovers. If we play a full game and don't make mistakes, we win. We WILL get to the qb. First sc elite d line since clowney ingram. Lets win this one with nasty aggressive D!
@@bcp5296d you’re so right about the turnovers. Will be huge if SC can will that margin by 2. Also we have to be able to flip the field and not give Miss short fields to work with. Also SC HAS TO BE EFFICIENT ON FIRST DOWN as our 3d down conversion rate is trash.
I’m honestly amazed that anyone who watches, really watches College Football, is not expecting Carolina to curb stomp Ole Miss. I don’t say that with arrogance or garnet colored glasses. Carolina’s defense is better than Kentucky in every way. Either Ole Miss was asleep vs KY and this Saturday wakes up and decides to be a great football team or they are who they appear to be. That is another massively overhyped team that played their first real SEC opponent and got punched in the face. Carolina rolls, 42 to 17
@@call4906to be fair one of those touchdowns was scored by SCs defense. Regardless our Gamecocks put up 24 @ UK. Ole Miss couldn’t manage 17 at home. UKs defense couldn’t stop us.
The scheduling was always a bloodbath. Adding more rivalry games within conference would expose the teams they protect and hurt their chances at championships. It’s a joke in the SEC, all about the money.
I don't care who one what last week. Put your cleats on Saturday and we'll see on Saturday. I think SC is better and should win this game. Ole Miss can get mad and get beat again. Ole Miss is a top 30 team and we're a top 10 team when healthy. If SC gets a fair game and wins the turnover battle I'm taking SC by 7. Ole Miss , Oklahoma, and Missouri are not as good as a healthy SC. WE should be 4-0 and in the top ten.
Top ten? Slow down. It's great being excited for your team but there is nothing SCAR has done that indicates they are a top ten team. I could see them being ranked, sure, but top ten is a huge reach.
@@zacharyscott6779in no way should they be ranked they almost lost to odu and sure they blew out Akron but it was ugly in the first half they couldn’t even score 30 in 3 quarters against a Mac team they had to wait until the 4th quarter when Akron was gassed to start blowing them out bad
@@prince.davvvid lmao who cares who your playing with statistically your backup qb is better than your starting qb so the starter that’s fumbled 6 times this season wouldn’t have helped yall at all
@@WayneMunn02 bro... one guy is 19 who has only started 3 games and the other is an experienced QB that came from another SEC school and played a cupcake game. please stop talking, you look ridiculous 😭😭😭
@@crogers4912 Dart was 1 for 10 on 3rd down versus a Kentucky pass rush that is nowhere near as good as Carolina. Dart looked like doo doo vs Kentucky. If you think he improves his stats vs Kennard, Stewart & Co., you are dreaming and hoping and wishing on a star.
@matchpropertymanagers223 as an Ole Miss fan, I think Kentucky just poked a sleeping bear. Hope South Carolina keeps overlooking Ole Miss by thinking because yall beat Kentucky that yall will curb stomp Ole Miss
Ashford is not a good QB at this level. As a lifelong USC fan and alum, I have noticed that USC, regardless of the coach, is unable to recruit a top-tier QB. Unfortunately, the best QB USC ever had is their radio play-by-play guy.
@@davidwoodbury4741 Connor Shaw is the best QB Carolin has ever had and it’s not even close. In 3.5 years he never lost a home game. If Lattimore does not go down they win the SEC and a Natty
The Best quarterback that played for South Carolina was Anthony Wright. Sellers is going to be up there. The most winningest quarterbacks are Shaw and Ellis .I believe Shaw's back up(Thompson) was better than he was. Shaw and Ellis had the best collective talent on their squads, followed by Allen Mitchell and Mike Hold.
Yeah you are really delusional. Stephen Garcia and Connor Shaw both were way better. And Dylan Thompson literally led the SEC in passing his year starting with a faulty defense. Get out of your old ways man.
@@poloregal What was faulty about the defense? If you even think that Shaw or Garcia was better than what I say they were than you are simply looking at stats and not the actually talent in the position. I believe you are too young to know and therefore you made an uneducated remark.
Ole Miss was not disciplined against UK. A lot of costly penalties. Carolina did not appear to be disciplined against LSU. An unnecessary penalty on an interception return cost them a win. If you don't play well, you lose. If you do play well, you win. Just ask Kentucky. They picked the right week to play their best game. Beating the 6th ranked team on the road, and beating them in their building for the first time since 1978, was historic. Losing to (or defeating) S. Carolina is ho-hum. Play a clean game and you most likely win, Carolina. Match Ole Miss's sloppiness and you likely lose. I would say that Ole Miss is the better team and that they play much better and defeat Carolina. If Kentucky is not careful they could get embarrassed by Vanderbilt. Who cares about stats, rankings, the number of future NFL players, etc. When two teams with roughly the same level of talent meet, whoever plays well wins.
Carolina didn't appear to be disciplined during the LSU game??? Look at how the refs called that game. Pick 6s that shouldn't have been returned back. Phantom OPI... The refs had money on that game, and even Clemson friends of mine said they got robbed.
@@timothyredwine5575 MS defense cost them the game vs KY by giving up three first half pass interference penalties that extended KY drives. MS secondary is trash, absolute trash.
@@1I1IIII1I1 both penalties on the pick sixes were absolutely the correct calls Nussmier was blatantly horse collared. There is video of the guy grabbing him right on the name. The blind side block was a good call as well, even Carolina fans know Nussmier didn’t see the hit and turned into a cheap shot. Maybe the coaches should teach the players about horse collar and blind side blocks. I don’t know if anyone can teach low IQ fans !
