From the SEC to the B1G to conference realignment to NIL & everything in-between -- talking all things NCAA and College Football here on College Football Addiction.
Firing Billy will be our downfall he's doing work were getting players we haven't had in a long time give that man 2 years dj lagway will ball out next year and we will get better players but not I'f we fire Billy that's stupid
We'll never win a championship here based on that guy's attitude about this team and it's not just this guy٫ it's our whole fanbase. The pessimism in our fanbase is a serious problem that needs to be discussed more.
I can't stand the Gamecoxks make fun of them every chance I get but at least JB is a reputable guy within the Gamecock media. You used an internet troll for Clemon's insider interview.
You better be concerned about South Carolina. Don’t take us seriously & see what happens. This guy speaking like sane old people who only looks at surface level things.
One can say Spurrier built 2 programs. Florida & Soutg Carolina. Even though both had already played 100 years of football. We didn’t have good facilities before & a colorful looking stadium before him & Florida really didn’t either especially their stadium.
It's genuinely sad this is a topic of discussion. The Culture he has built, the recruiting classes he has assembled, and how he utilizes the Transfer Portal and NIL emulates what you want in a HC. Honestly not sure how we could ask for anymore in a HC. So many ungrateful Gamecock fans considering this is the only Coach who would literally turn down EVERY other coaching job in the country to stay here. If there is no progression between 24-25' with no major changes to the Coaching staff then i could entirely understand the "hot seat" narrative, i just feel it's too soon for this conversation.
From what I have seen the alumni of ND have been thrilled with Freeman. They are happy that the previous coach (name not to be mentioned) is gone. IMO don't watch this. The best place I have seen for Notre Dame coverage is Irish Breakdown. The free stuff is amazing. The premium board is inexpensive and has incredible intel. Go Irish
S. Carolina has always been a mediocre football program. You can’t expect Beamer to win at a high clip. Spurrier was able to win for a few years at a high level and he knew that he could not sustain it and retired.
The thing about the new extended playoff that I’m looking forward to, is seeing some of those teams in the South finally having to come up North and play games in December.
Such a travesty that the LSU game is not at night. LSU is going to be vulnerable this year due to how poorly they did in trying to replace an already bad D Line in the portal. I still think the Gamecocks have a decent chance to win that one. GO COCKS !!
Why is A&M still playing South Carolina? I know previously it was an annual cross rival. But Georgia was scheduled to finally go to College Station in 2024 but with TU/OU joining the SEC again no UGA to College Station.
Beamers not going anywhere don’t forget to mention sellers 6 lineman out last year and a better defense and all anyone can talk about is Beamer on the hot seat wrong I haven’t herd anyone talk yet who’s actually done any research into last year’s 5 and 7 record
@@Toddscamry-lk5wreither of your parents ever tell you "think before you speak" growing up? Beamer is MOST definitely a HC.
Damn. Missouri has beaten South Carolina five years in a row and has won 9 out of the 14 game history. South Carolina IS NOT a member of the prestigious AAU. The SEC needs to kick South Carolina out and replace them with AAU member North Carolina or Virginia. How many SEC East titles has South Carolina won since 2012? Has any SEC East team won SEC east titles since 2012 that isn't Georgia, Florida, Tennessee? Not bad for that former Big 12 bottom feeder.
Michael you have blinders for eye's....Football is tough for many schools in the SEC unless your a top tier school like Georgia and Alabama. no school besides those two have done much. Basketball, South Carolina with Lamont is becoming competative, Women's Basketball and Soccer we are National Champ and threat to anyone we play. Baseball and Softball we are not that far away from being back to where we were base on the last few years and with new coaching staff's we will see..
South Carolina just won the women’s basketball title and were back-to-back national baseball champions in 2010 & 2011. Yes they suck in FB but they bring success in other sports to the table.
and yet South Carolina is the face of women's basketball, they're a blue blood baseball program, the men's basketball program has a final four within the last 10 years and seems to be growing from a tourney appearance last season. Football ain't the only sport that matters so pipe down
Tennessee didn’t win the SEC east in its last 20 damn years. Congratulations on Missouri backdooring their way into that game in 2013 and 14. Got fucking clownstomped both times.
Virginia, now I know you're joking, Clemson has dominated the palmetto State rivalry, but nowhere near to what Virginia Tech has done to Virginia this millennium, the last time UVA won back to back vs VT was 1997 and 1998. Since then VT has had streaks of 4 straight, 15 straight, and another 3 straight, totaling 22 out of the last 25(didn't play in 2022) and that's with most of the VT teams the past 10+ years being average to below average. VT should replace UVA with a more challenging season ending opponent, it's not even a rivalry anymore, it hasn't been for a long time.
Keep Oklahoma out your mouth sc guy. Your team is trash. Oklahoman is a blue blood. Texas is not on Oklahomas level. Oklahoma is 17-8 vs Texas in the last 25 years. Oklahoma beat Texas in 2023. Remember
We’re more talented than…..they’re more talented than….clearly we added this guy and recruited that guy so we’re the most talented. When are you guys going to realize that talent is irrelevant if you can’t execute because you don’t develop well, you don’t play tough, gritty trench football, you haven’t built a culture where your players give a crap about your school, and your coaches play not to lose rather than trusting in their players to take risks and make things happen? Please stop comparing Ryan Day to Kirby Smart and Nick Saban, guys who have won multiple championships. You couldn’t even beat Jim Harbaugh with the 14th most talented roster in college football, or Missouri with the 25th!!! 😐
@@frankmeyers7304 So the Michigan - Ohio State rivalry only has 20 games in it? Meanwhile, for those who are data-driven, there have been 118 and Michigan has won 61 of them to Ohio State’s 51. And to your attempt at a point, we know how to dig ourselves out of a rut and climb back to the top. Your fanbase is perennially stuck on stupid, thinking that talent alone wins football games. Execution wins football games. One would think you would have learned that last year, managing only 3 points in your embarrassing loss to the 25th most talented team, Missouri. But some folks have to learn the hard way.
@@ArrivedStoned Yeah, so tight that Maserati Marv couldn’t be bothered to show up against Missouri. Just like Jaxon Smith-Njigba couldn’t be bothered to show up against Georgia. Just like Kyle McCord left town after his coach dissed him. Just like half your running back room took off in the offseason. Soooo tight.
@@davideskew6065 you just proved my point Marvin gave up on both those picks. Day coached scared and not to lose, but all you nuts just blame Kyle because he wasn’t cj or Justin, the running game was inconsistent not helping Kyle but you nuts put 100% of the blame on Kyle
At ,want going to happen bye non conference play for going add Florida state Seminole Clemson tigers Virginia cavaliers Norte dame fighting Irish stay independence
Florida state Clemson and Virginia cavaliers be part, the south eastern conference, disagree Florida state Seminole in big ten same disagree Clemson tigers if dump big ten dump non conference college football game
More newbies in the big ten, I remember when Nebraska and Penn State joined, all the buzz was how the "big two" was no more, these new teams were going to tame OSU & U of M. Well, many years later, it's still the big two. But I guess the hype for these latest newbies is good for the sport.
No way in hell Louisville beats ND two years in a row and in South Bend you are crazy. I was worried about the game last season before it even started but this year ND will be ready and out for revenge and we will get it!!! And beating Georgia stop with the crazy talk not going to happen, just think about the Pitt game last year!!!
